Ryann should have gotten a job years ago, but a failure to commit and a socially awkward disposition have left her collecting degree after degree. When she wins a trip to The Ski Lodge over winter break, she and her two best friends pack up and head out with dreams of adventure.

After a brief encounter with intensely awkward billionaire Chance Belgarde, Ryann is certain she never wants to see him again.

Waking up in my own bed was a thing of magic. I rolled back and forth just to savor it a little bit more. But something was missing. 


I'd been home for two days and still hadn't heard a peep from him. I was about to go down to Regency Hospital and give him a piece of my mind. I was worried and a little hurt that he hadn't thought to contact me and let me know he was alright. I knew what he'd said, but did that mean we were nothing now? We weren't even friends? I knew he was busy being operated on and post-op, but still. Would a text have been too much? I'd gotten a new phone on day one. 


My mind flickered to other options, but I shut that shit down. I was a decision-making woman, and I wanted to see Chance.
