Epilogue
ONE YEAR LATER
"Merry Christmas." I rolled over and gave Chance a full-body squeeze.
He chuckled sleepily, his arms coming up to squeeze me back. "Merry Christmas."
Sunlight streamed through pale blue curtains and lit up our beach-house-styled bedroom. It was all done up in whitewashed woods and pale blues and yellows. It was the cheeriest place I'd ever been.
I leaped out of bed. "I'm going to wake the others."
Hair a mess and still sleepy-eyed, I dashed out of our bedroom and into the next one.
Ava and Paulo both groaned at my intrusion, but then I was airborne and landing between them.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS!" I crowed, hugging them both from between them.
"Get the hell out of here, Ryann, before I murder you." Ava shoved my arm away, her giant engagement ring glinting in the soft light. It turned out Paulo was more than capable of calming Ava when she'd gotten cold feet four months ago.
