Tanaka Keisuke

English period began. Tanaka Keisuke was paying full attention to the class. It was his favorite subject as he loves to watch english movie and even dreaming of becoming a hollywood star in the future.

Tanaka Keisuke was not a studious person though lately grew a motivation in his mind to be more diligent. He continuosly took some notes. The pencil was inseparable from his grasp.

"Ah, I made a spelling error. Argh, but I don't have an eraser." He became anxious. He was afraid he couldn't catch up what the teacher said.

"Here." Kazuya who sat next to him stretched out his right hand offering an eraser.

"Oh, thank you."

"Mhm."

Kazuya didn't show slightest change of expression. Just making his usual poker face while paying attention to the class. He had yawned several times during the session. Soon his eyes were getting more tired thus fading away his consciousness.

"Kazuya-san."

"Kazuya-san..."

"Mmh..."

Kazuya heard a voice calling for him. He tried to ignore it but as he did that the voice was getting louder. He finally gave up and got up from the sleep. The first thing he saw was a figure of a man standing right besides him. A man with average height who'd got dyed blue hair slicked to the back gave him a smile. He had a good sense of fashion.

"You sure are a unique one. You were asleep until the end of period." Tanaka Keisuke said in amazement.

"What... are you the one who woke me up...? So it's not a dream huh..."

"Sorry for intruding your good time but next period is math. I need to call you out if not you're going to get smacked again like last time."

"Oh.."

"Also here." Tanaka Keisuke pointed his finger towards an eraser on Kazuya's table.

"I've returned your eraser. Thanks for lending me one."

"Ah.. I see. It's not a big deal. I just help someone who's in need."

"You're surprisingly kind huh, Kazuya-san. You're always grumpy and seems unapproachable so I thought you're a bad person. I'm sorry for my baseless assumption."

A memory of his late mother suddenly flashed through his mind.

"Kazuya, I hope you grow up on becoming a great person and make many friends." A piece of advices from his mother was still remembered until this day. However, his lazy-ass personality made him thinking that making friends was unnecessary.

"I'm used to it. Can't deny that I'm not as talkative as others though I'd like to get along with my classmates at least."

Tanaka Keisuke nodded in understanding. An idea popped out in his head.

"Then how about we go to karaoke after school? I'll invite other people too. We can go hitting on some girls hehe." He said the last line in whispering voice. His real intention leaked out as he was smirking.

"Sorry, but I have to go to part-time job this evening." Kazuya refused the invitation reluctantly. He didn't have a choice since the time between 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. was his busy schedule. Despite the guilt, he felt a bit relieve. Going out with many people is not his thing. He enjoys being alone and relaxing to his core to the point he is willing to skip PE session. Even so, he low key wanted to hang out together to experience the extrovert life.

"How about next time?" Tanaka Keisuke asked.

"I'm free on Sunday but I don't want to waste my precious holiday like that. Maybe I can ask the manager for a day off. He is kind so I think it'll work out."

"Keisuke-kun!!" A sudden yell from not so far away interrupted the conversation. A girl with ponytail was seen standing at the back door of the classroom. Perhaps she was a friend or there is special relationship between them? Either way it had nothing to do with Kazuya.

"Your girlfriend?" He asked.

"No, she's just a friend haha-ha. I got rejected by her. Thankfully our relationship is still good haha." Tanaka Keisuke tried to hide his broken heart but his fake laugh was too obvious.

'Damn, must be hurt...' Kazuya monologued.
