Chapter 51 Illusions

West drove all the way, paying attention to the surrounding scenery from time to time.

According to the simple road condition marked on the map, this was indeed the road to the steel plant.

West took a deep breath and looked around.

Somehow, he felt the scene a little familiar, but still strange.

"Payton’s house seems to be near here." West slowed down the car slowly. Suddenly, it occurred to her that Payton was here.

Payton was the goddess he once had a crush on.

She had a pretty face, a pair of thin and long legs, and a good figure. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been called a goddess.

Thinking of this, West sighed slightly. If he had been more capable or confident at that time, perhaps Payton would have become his man.

At that time, he was a little poor and not confident enough. Later, his goddess Payton was with a rich and handsome man.

He had just thought of Payton, but he didn't expect that there was a girl who looked like Payton crying on the roadside.

What a coincidence?

West hesitated for a while, but still couldn't help getting out of the car to check what was going on.

After all, in this world, it was not safe for a weak woman to be alone on the road.

West opened the door, got out of the car, and walked towards Payton.

"Hello, may I ask why you are here? Did you encounter any difficulties?" West's eyes fell on Payton, and his tone was a little confused and concerned.

The woman raised her head.

Her black eyes were the same as Payton’s. For a moment, West felt as if he had seen Payton.

West pursed his lips, not knowing what to say.

He seemed to have lost the ability to speak.

"Don't you remember me? West."

"I've been here for a long time. I thought I would have a chance to meet you, but it's been so long. I haven't seen you once."

The woman's lips trembled as she walked towards West step by step.

Her eyes seemed to be filled with tears as she stared at West with affection.

The beauty cried, which was something no one wanted to see.

Subconsciously, West walked towards Payton and grabbed her clothes. "We've met each other, haven't we?"

There was only half a step between him and Payton.

"See the milk-tea shop not far away? Do you still like the one we used to go to?" Payton said in a low voice with a shy look on her face, lowering her head.

This should be a date?

The corners of West's mouth curled up slightly, and he was very happy.

"Of course, I remember. It's my treat," West said with a smile.

The two walked towards the milk-tea shop not far away.

There was always a strange feeling in West's heart, but he didn't know why.

He stopped subconsciously.

Was there anyone spying on him?

"What's wrong, West? Why did you stop all of a sudden?" Payton’s face was surprised and confused. She looked in the direction of West and asked, "Are you still blaming me?"

Payton said in a low voice, and soon her eyes turned red.

"You are a trustworthy person. I shouldn't have chosen Wang Ming at that time."

Payton stopped and said in a low voice, looking lost.

That Wang Ming she referred to was the rich and handsome man.

Until now, West could still remember that person clearly.

Maybe it was because that man was with his goddess, or maybe it was because his status or even his family background at that time made West envious.

"Payton, you haven't told me why you are here yet," West asked in a low voice, looking around quietly.

It was so quiet that he thought he had returned to the period before the apocalypse.

Something was wrong.

He had seen a few zombies wandering in different buildings, but now they had completely disappeared.

As if they were protected by something in this area, where there was no danger.

The more he thought about this, the more West felt that something was wrong here.

However, the next moment, a tall figure came out of the milk-tea shop, "Oh, West and Payton? It's a coincidence. I didn't expect that we would meet here." Wang Ming looked extremely cold. He looked in the direction of Payton and West and said sarcastically, "Payton! You said that you had nothing to do with West. Look at the two of you now. You are almost hugging each other!"

West's eyes wandered between Payton and Wang Ming.

"Wang Ming, it seems that you are living a good life now. You are still so glamorous. Where are your bodyguards?" West gently patted Payton on the shoulder to comfort her.

"I can be with whoever I want. It has nothing to do with you," Wang Ming sneered. "What? You have a crush on my woman?"

West suddenly burst into laughter. Before Wang Ming could react, he was punched in the face.

"No matter before or now, I have already wanted to do so."

"Of course, and you."

West turned around and looked in the direction of Payton. Before Payton could react, he quickly grabbed her arm and threw her to Wang Ming with a shoulder throw.

"West, what are you doing? It hurts." shock was written all over Payton's face. Her delicate voice was heard.

West, on the other hand, stood aside with a cold expression on his face, which was completely different from the polite look he had shown to Payton before.

"I know you are all fake. From the moment I saw you, what I saw should be a constant change between fake and real."

The corner of West's mouth curled up slightly, and his right hand slowly opened. A bright purple flame appeared in his hand.

He had noticed several people around him who had unstable breaths.

"I just wanted to play with you, but now all of you are going to die!" West said calmly.

He ignored the man in the goddess's disguise and the man he hated and was about to walk in the direction where he found the fluctuation.

However, the two people behind him chased after him closely and even stretched out their hands to stop him.

The lightning in West's hand flickered slightly, and he threw it directly on the two people.
