Before deciding whether to let Raymond meet Watson, Clark thought to himself that he would have to meet the painter.
Clark asked his assistant to send a message to Raymond and asked him to go to a cafe.
Clark's first impression was that this Raymond was not serious.
The reason why he forgave him later was that he was a painter.
"Mr. Clark, it seems that I have made it clear to you in the letter. I want to see Mr. Watson. I have something to talk to him face to face."
As soon as he met Clark, Raymond looked arrogant and spoke to him in a disdainful tone.
Clark didn't care about what he said and what he did. Most importantly, he wanted to know what he was going to do to see Watson.
"Oh, I know, Mr. Raymond. But there is a rule in a company that Mr. Watson can't be seen so easily."
"Besides, my boss is busy. There are a lot of people who talk to him every day. I think you should understand."
Clark was neither humble nor pushy. In a few words, he had raised Watson's status.
