Many days passed Sam and Peter started spending their days together.. they got closer and closer everyday.. they had play together since morning till late night and would even fall asleep together after being exhausted the whole day and would spend the night together...

Their parents were also happy cuz they could increase their relationship with each other's family.. In that manner 2 years passed.. Peter and Sam went to different schools so when their school opened after vacation they had felt sad for not being able to see each other half a day... and also they had to study after school which reduced the playing time on top of that Sam started taking music and drawing classes on Sundays so she stays busy the whole Sunday in the morning she attend music class and in the evening she have drawing classes but that's the only day when their schools are closed..still they don't get to stay together.. in fact the most busiest day for Sam is Sunday.. and Peter needs to wait for Sam the whole day sitting idle without doing anything...

One day Peter came to Sam's house in excitement he called out her name in front of Sam's house...

Peter : Sam..!! Sam..! come out I have something important to announce to you come out fast..!! I can't wait anymore..!!

Sam : ( rushes out of the house) what it is that made you so excited.. tell me you are making me curious..

Peter : I will tell you but first let's go to my house... come on hurry...

Sam : fine let's go... let's run then we will reach fast..

Peter : okay.. let's run..

Both of them ran to Peter's house....

both of them were exhausted after running in full speed from Sam's house to Peter's house so they both laid down in Peter's bed gasping for breadth..

Sam : huff huff.. what do you want to tell me.. I am in full suspense..

Peter : actually I have been thinking about it for a long time..

Sam : what..?

Peter : we hardly get time for each other.. you know.. because in the morning we had to go to school and spent half a day there and in the evening we just get to spend little time together and again come back to complete our homework..

Sam : hmm I know..

Peter : we only get Sunday but on that day you have you music and drawing class so I have to stay idle the whole day waiting for you to come back home.. and play with you.. but after you come back you are totally exhausted without 1% of strength in you body...

Sam : where you so excited to tell me this problem? if yes I am going back.. ( gets up..)

Peter : wait.. ( holds Sam's hand..) I have got a solution for all this problem..

Sam : ( sits down in the bed) really..? what it is..

Peter : just wait a second I have something to show you.... ( goes to his wardrobe..)

Sam : what it is.. ?

Peter : ( shows his uniform to Sam) ta da..!!

Sam : ( shocked) this..this is my school uniform..

Peter : yup..

Sam : you are transferring to my school...?

Peter : yup.... my mother wanted to transfer me to other school when she asked me where I wanna go I told her I will study in the school where Sam's studies and my mom agreed...

Sam : why didn't you tell me earlier...

Peter : I wanted to surprise you.. actually I wanted to tell you the first day of my school I wanted to see how shocked you will be when you see me at your school in your school uniform..

Sam : but you failed to keep it a secret anymore... right..?

Peter : you know me the best... I tried so hard but the excitement didn't allow me to keep it a secret anymore... but now the question is not this.. the question is that are you happy after hearing this news..

Sam : of course I am very happy.. ( hugs Peter) I am very very happy... I have a friend at my school now.. I won't be alone anymore

Peter : ( blush..) of course I would never let you be alone anymore.. we together will make many friends...

Sam : deal..!! ( laughs)

Mrs Katerine was standing in front of Peter's room with a tray of snacks and listening to their tiny conversation....

Mrs Katerine : kids are so straight forward..they are becoming mature day by day...kids nowadays..( laughs..) ( knocks the door) Peter I brought you some snacks for you and Sam I am leaving it in front of the door come and fetch it before it gets cold... and yes don't forget to wash your hands before eating..

Peter : sure mom...

Both spend their beautiful evening together and planned about what what things they are going to do at school...

Few days later school reopened.. Both Sam and Peter went to the school together in a van with other students...

Both of them were in same class and same section so they spent most of the time with each other.. Peter had made many friends together with seth at school and they form a mini group together.. Sam was the only girl in that group rest were all boys... Sam was never close with any girl as everyone ignored her and Peter was the only friend she trusted the most so they had stay together everytime.. they would play same games, share tiffin, sit together and chat a lot.. they never feel bored with each other and enjoy each other's company....

In this way days passed by.. days passed in supersonic speed.. and soon Sam's 6th birthday was awaiting at the door...

Sam never celebrates her birthday but this time her parents and sisters decided of celebrating her birthday because they were all together this year.. else they were all busy working in different different places...

So they had invited everyone living in the colony including the kids who were never friends with Sam and the whole family Peter and his cousins
