It was almost 3:00 am when we went back to our hotel, and in the morning, as expected we had hangover. We ate breakfast at 10. We decided to go in in the mall, to buy Pizza. Well, we also bought Lasagna, since Bea and Justin seemed to idolize Garfield. lol.
Anyways, after buying some snacks, we went to the beach and took pictures, after which, we went directly to the lighthouse in one of the Barangays. It's a top hill place and when we were there, we could almost see the ocean front. Lacey like the place, and seeing her smile, I just can't help but smile too. (Really, love makes us crazy)
We waited for the sunrise and it never failed our expectation, it's almost seeing a golden chariot depart. We were embracing each other while watching the magnificent sun slide down, indeed it is poetry, because at that moment I feel like Romeo, and with me, is my Juliet.
Before we went home, we went to Coco Veranda to eat dinner , Bea and Justin love the place instantly, can't blame them, they love music and sea foods. That maybe is the reason why they compliment each other. So after dinner, we went home in our hotel and rest. Before going to bed, Lacey and I talked, just stuff, I just wanted to hear her voice. It reminds me how beautiful life is. Maybe some people think I am crazy, but who cares what people think? I care what I think. And I think I love the idea of growing old with her.
We went to sleep, well I went to my room of course. My heart was racing but let the rustic air take tomorrow. God, bless me.
At 6 am, I woke up, thanks to my "Percy and Grover screaming at each other alarm" (that's when Percy opened the bathroom while Grover was still in there .lol) so I woke up early to prepare of course, I bought breakfast for all of us. I get agitated, nervous, but also excited, I don't know, maybe it's just normal to feel that way when you are to propose to the woman you love, when they woke up, they packed all their things too.
We rode a bus to go to that town, the four of us killed our time in the trip by chatting and taking pictures, although I must admit it was a bit hard to get a nice capture since the bus kept bouncing. When the bus stopped, we rode a tricycle, the two girls sat inside while Justin and I rode at the back. We stopped at the port, and from there, we sailed a Banka that can almost accommodate 40 people.
While we're getting near, my heart pounded even harder. I mean, yeah totally that proposal in Tagaytay was huge, but this proposal was another thing. I get to ask her, to spend the rest of her life with me, though I know that we love each other, still, it's nerve racking.
When we arrived at the Island, we went first to the Inn, we booked. The two girls in one room while Justin and I in the other. The receptionist, Melj personally assisted us in our rooms. She seemed to have a foreign blood since she looks like an Indian. But she made sure to us that she's a pure Filipina. She left us a word saying 'If you need me, just call me and I'll be there – she went out then suddenly came back to us again- "oh btw, u can use the intercom, beside the bedpost" then she left. She was a bit funny and very charming.
Unlike before (grin) I'm quite thankful about the set up because at least Lacey would not notice how uneasy I am.
