167: To coax her, you must kiss her (Chapter One)_1

Rae Bennett plucked Wyatt Wright, this star from the sky, and after their playful kisses, it was time to stop. She hugged her shining star, her smile that of a little fox who had just stolen some meat.

Wyatt Wright straightened his hem, lifted Rae Bennett, and placed her on the bed, then pulled over a chair to sit on himself.

He had something to say.

"Rae," his ears were still red from the kissing.

"Hmm?" Rae's slippers had fallen off, revealing a pair of fluffy pink socks on her feet.

Wyatt Wright fell silent again.

Rae swung her legs, bumping against his trouser leg: "What's wrong?"

There was no heating on in the room, and the temperature dropped in the evening.

Wyatt stood up, unfolded the blanket and pulled it over Rae's feet, looking at her: "I need to take a long trip."

Her face, which had been warm from their recent "stolen pleasures," felt like it had been splashed with cold water, slowly cooling down: "Where to? When are you leaving?"

"Westone, day after tomorrow."
