218: Wyatt Wright was released, Rae came to pick him up (first update)_1

The Nineteen Bureau is located on the eastern edge of Osla.

It was exactly two o'clock in the afternoon, Osla time, and Wyatt Wright had been brought in forty-eight hours ago.

Rae Bennett and Miss Watson had overthought it; the Nineteen Bureau wouldn't resort to extralegal punishment, at most they would use some high-tech polygraph devices, but Wyatt Wright was special. He was the hero of the recent attack and was invited in, thus he was treated with courtesy.

Ben Hawthorn received an international call, said a few words, then turned and handed the phone to his boss: "Director."

The Director came over.

Ben Hawthorn said, "It's a call from the embassy."

The Director of the Nineteen Bureau, Director Richardson, had graying hair and was nearing retirement age. Before joining the Bureau, he'd worked as a diplomat and an interpreter.

After Director Richardson finished the call, he said, "Let him go."
