Miya Ford was born into a very traditional family; her father was a Literature Professor, and her mother was a homemaker.
Her life proceeded in an orderly fashion, following the path planned by her parents, graduating from high school at eighteen, then going abroad for further studies, at Florley University, a school chosen by her father.
Florley University wasn't the best in Amithotep, but its Philosophy Department was very prestigious. Amithotep was prosperous, the economic heart of Ancient City, and adjacent to California's Roshenge.
