The Farmer

For years, we humans have lived on this planet.

Every day, I go out to tend to the farm my parents left in my care. Whenever I glance towards the ground, I wonder if there's another world out there, a world where other sentient life forms lived. Below the ground, there's something called the universe, and that universe is filled with clouds, or so that's what the textbooks said. Only trained expeditioners are allowed to go underground and check out the universe. As for all of us normal civilians, the only thing we could do is look up above where the core of this planet is.
