Chapter 37 The Plan Succeeded

Emily turned around stiffly.

There was a light gray wallet between Auston's slender fingers.

Just now, she told Hedda that she was here because she had dinner with a female friend.

Auston appeared in front of them in the same bathrobe as hers!

If God wanted her to die here today, there was no need to use this way to let her have a social death.

She promised that she would die obediently.

Emily didn't dare to look back at Hedda.

She grabbed her wallet, thanked him in a hurry and ran away in a hurry.

Emily didn't even take the elevator. She ran through the exit passageway.

Hedda swallowed.

God, what did he see?!

In this case, no one would believe that there was nothing between the two people!

But the president doesn't like Emily, does he!

What kind of magic power did this woman have?

How could she get a man like Auston!

Hedda began to search in his mind whether he had offended Emily or not.

Maybe she was the future hostess.

"What are you thinking about?"

Auston's cold voice came over Hedda's head.

Hedda came to his senses in an instant.

"No, president, I'm just thinking that your schedule for today's meeting has been moved to two o'clock in the afternoon."

The desire to survive made Hedda give the best answer.

"This is your clothes."

Hedda handed a paper bag in both hands to him.

Auston took the bag and asked Hedda to leave.

Before the assistant left, he warned in a low voice, "I don't want to hear any strange rumors in the company."

Hedda nodded in a hurry.

No one dared to say anything about the president's private affairs!

Auston turned around and walked into the room. Of course, he knew what Hedda was thinking.

But how could he explain that there was nothing between him and Emily?

It would only make things worse.

Auston was a little regretful. He couldn't help but go out when Emily lied to Hedda just now.

He just didn't want her to deceive Hedda easily.

Emily was a woman with who Auston should reduce to contract.

Auston made up his mind.

He felt that if things went on like this, he would do more strange things!

When Emily returned to her apartment, Andre was already waiting at the door.

He was surprised to see Emily in a hotel bathrobe.

"Why... Why did you come back in this dress?"

Emily sighed.

"What happened last night was a disaster. Don't ask me. I don't want to recall at all."

Andre was more worried.

However, he didn't ask more questions. Instead, he said, "Yesterday, after we finished our work, we wanted to go back to look for you, but you were missing. We couldn't find you everywhere. We didn't make sure you were all right until we caught that group of hooligans."

Emily licked her lips.

She was indeed fine.

But this made her feel more ashamed.

'Auston, he is a gentleman. How could he be slandered by her like this?'.

It could only be said that there was a big misunderstanding between the two sides.

"It was just an accident."

"By the way, have Kliman and Lucy dealt with it?"

Andre nodded with a smile and handed a U disk to Emily.

"Everything you want is here. We have sent her back to where she was. I promise there will be no mistake."

Kliman and Lucy might not know it was the other party yesterday.

"Thank you!"

Emily patted Andre on the shoulder.

"I'll treat you to dinner after it's over."

She couldn't help coughing.

During this time, she was both frightened and worried. Her immunity quickly declined, and she was already a little uncomfortable.

Emily didn't get sick because of her firm spirit.

She had been soaked in cold water last night, and now she felt a little uncomfortable in her throat.

"Are you okay?"

Emily shook her head.

"I don't think so. I'll take two pills of vitamin later. You can go back and have a rest. We'll contact you later."

After sending Andre away, Emily went into the bathroom to take a shower.

It had to be said that after bathing, she felt much more relaxed.

Emily put on full makeup and was about to go out when Aldrich called her.

"Come here right now!"

Aldrich said coldly, "I have something to say!"

Then he hung up the phone.

Emily thought that her "cheap father" hadn't figured out the situation yet.

He treated her as if she would come at any time.

But Emily was not angry at all.

The higher these people flew, the more miserable they would be when they fell.

When Emily arrived, Albert was already sitting in the living room.

Beside him was Lucy.

The two of them didn't look well.

Seeing Emily come in, Lucy stood up subconsciously. She looked at Emily and wanted to say something, but stopped on second thought. Obviously, she wanted to say something.

But after taking a look at Albert, she held back her words.

Emily knew that Lucy would never tell Albert anything about what happened yesterday.

It could be said that Albert was a model who was strict with others and was lenient with himself.

It was easy for him to cheat on Lucy and have sex with others.

But if Lucy did it, he would abandon Lucy directly.

Lucy and Albert had been together for so many years. How could she not know his character?

How dare she let Albert know that she might have slept with someone else?

Emily had always been very strange.

Lucy had been spoiled much more than her since she was a child in this family.

Although Aldrich was selfish, he was kind to Lucy.

It seemed that Lucy didn't lack love. She must treat scum as gold and treasure.

But the reality was so magic.

Emily could only say that a pot went well with a lid.

"You should know why I came to you."

Aldrich said in a gloomy voice.

"October 20th is your engagement ceremony with Mr. Kliman. What do you think?"

There were only ten days left before the engagement ceremony. If everything went well, the old Kliman was going to make them get engaged on 20th and the wedding would be held on the 30th.

Emily was such an unfilial woman. Her lawyer had forced Aldrich to return most of the property.

Every transfer of money and shares made Aldrich's heartache.

H couldn't let things go on like this.

Aldrich couldn't allow any mistake in her engagement!

Even if they kidnapped her, Emily had to appear at the engagement party.

Aldrich surmised, "Don’t forget your oaths. If the engagement ceremony can't be held smoothly because of you, your daughter and aunt will never go to heaven!"

"Of course."

To Aldrich's surprise.

Emily agreed readily.

"I will attend the engagement ceremony on time, but I also hope that Mr. Albert won't make any mistake."
