Chapter 57 Quarrel and the Truth of Death

It seemed that Aunt Gina was too embarrassed to speak it out.

Emily patted her on the shoulder.

"What else can't you tell me?"

"Lucy is leaving. She is studying abroad."

Aunt Gina sighed, "Your father insisted that I should call you over to have dinner with them."

Emily couldn't figure it out. Now that they almost had broken up.

Why did they have to be together constrainedly?

She didn't trust Aldrich and his family.

Emily doubted whether they wanted to take the opportunity to drug her and sell her to the remote mountains and forests.

Seeing that her aunt didn't insist, she just said, "I don't think they want to do anything."

"... If you don't want to go, I will refuse them."

When Aunt Gina picked up the phone and was about to call Aldrich, Emily held her hand.

"I'll go, but I'm not free recently. It's next Wednesday at the earliest."

In fact, Emily could understand what Aunt Gina was thinking.

After all, Aldrich was her brother. It was not easy to refuse something.
