Lucas did bite his tongue, but he didn't want to commit suicide. He knew what he was doing and what time it was. He just wanted to take a gamble.
When he woke up, he found himself still alive, but his tongue was a little painful and his body was a little weak. Everything else was fine. He slightly twitched the corners of his mouth and knocked the bed board with his hand in a small arc.
As expected, there was a sound outside. Someone quickly came in to check. When he saw him wake up, he opened his mouth and immediately closed the door. Two minutes later, Anne walked in.
"You woke up? I didn't expect you to have the courage to die. I didn't expect that." She shook her head and sat down on the edge of the bed, with her legs crossed and her hands on her knees. Looking at his weak appearance, she tutted and said, "You did not die. Are you disappointed?"
Lucas turned his head away and didn't look at her. Not annoyed, Anne slowly took out her phone from her bag and clicked on a photo.
