Ashley was a little hesitant. On one hand, she was suspicious of Luke's inexplicable kindness, and on the other hand, she was worried about Lucas's state. She thought for a while, and when she looked back, she didn't find Luke.
"Mom, shall we go in?" Ferry shook her hand. She smiled and nodded after a moment of silence.
"Let's go."
She held Ferry's hand tightly and the two walked into the room. The room was unusually quiet. Ashley heard the footsteps and stopped in place all of a sudden.
Seeing a figure coming downstairs, the corner of her mouth moved. Ferry let go of her hand and ran upstairs.
"Dad, Dad!"
Children's love was the most real and urgent. Lucas hugged Ferry before he came down.
"Dad is here."
"Dad, I miss you." Lucas's heart almost melted when he heard the sobbing voice of Ferry. He hadn't gotten along with his son for a long time, so he felt guilty for his son.
