Mr. Jimi didn't answer. He just smiled. It was obvious what he meant. Anne was so angry that she stood up.
"I thought you were a smart man, Mr. Jimi. I didn't expect you to mess around at this time. Don't you know that anyone who goes against our company will come to no good end?"
"Mrs. Anne, if you don't have anything else to say, you can go back first. I really need to think about it." Mr. Jimi's face darkened.
After all, he was the boss of a company. How could he think it through when someone pointed at his face and said such insulting words in his own territory?
Luke frowned and stepped back a little. The smell was still lingering in his nose. He just couldn't remember where he had smelled it, and his mind was a little out of control.
"Let's go."
Since she was pissed off by Mr. Jimi, she wouldn't let it go.
He didn't come to his senses until he felt the slap on his back.
"What are you thinking about? Hurry up and follow me!"
"Okay."
