"You... You are..."
She pointed at him excitedly. She was even more embarrassed at the thought that the two of them had a strange face now. But he had already stepped in, closed the door, and hugged her tightly.
"That's the surprise."
It was Lucas. The familiar smell, the familiar voice, and the familiar touch, except for the strange face.
She hugged him back and rubbed her head on his shoulder. Her eyes couldn't help but feel bitter.
"Why are you back?"
"I came back to see you." Lucas answered without hesitation, but he had another purpose, so he added, "I'll deal with other things by the way."
The two didn't let go of each other until they felt tired. The curtain of the room was closed, and there was only incandescent light in it. He looked around and his eyes fell on the curtain.
"I saw someone outside when I came in just now."
