Or in other words, without Professor Bruce, the Doomsday Committee would be useless and could do nothing.
So, it would be great if Bruce could be the person in charge.
But when Bruce heard that he was going to hold so many positions, he shook his head helplessly and said.
"Thank you for your kindness, but I still have a lot of work to do. I won't refuse the chief scientist, but the position of secretary general requires too much supervision. It's difficult for me to spare so much energy."
Hearing this, the president did not seem to be too surprised. He seemed to have prepared for it.
He said with a smile.
"Professor Bruce, of course, I know that you, a scientist, should spend most of your time on research. The reason why I let you be the secretary general is that I hope you can have some real power."
