"Ha-ha, I'm so lucky that you were tripped by that branch last night. Otherwise, I might have been killed by you."
Claude pinched the woman's chin and questioned her.
"No! It's not me!"
The woman shook off Claude's hand with her face. She still wanted to defend herself, but Claude didn't believe her anymore. After all, she had done that just now.
"Do you know the only loophole you have? The dagger you threw in the grass was accidentally seen by me!"
Claude looked at the woman and said all the words. He wanted to see how she would explain.
But the woman's face changed when she heard the dagger. She calmed down instantly and stared at Claude.
Suddenly, the woman kicked back and hit Elias's belly. Elias let go of the woman's hand and the woman got a chance to escape. She ran out quickly.
"I didn't expect you to know it. I thought I could hide it from you all the time. Now that you have known it, there is no need to pretend anymore. Ha-ha!"
