Chapter 13 Punish Violette Smith

Out of cooperation, Freda opened the folder in front of Zed.

When she saw the name of the person Zed was looking for, she was stunned.

"Freda Ivans?"

"Yes, help me find her."

"Is there another Freda in the world?" Freda wondered.

Then she continued to read the document.

"Original address, Manhattan Villa District..."

It had been a long time since Freda heard the name. Manhattan Villa was where her grandfather lived.

Was she the one Zed was looking for?

Unable to figure out the reason, she asked, "May I ask why you want this person, Mr. Smith?"

Although Zed didn't want to tell Freda, she still had to know something if he needed help from her.

"Childhood playmate."

But Freda was confused. She never remembered that she had a childhood playmate called Zed? What happened?

It seemed that the deal wouldn't be made. In Freda's memory, there had never been such a person called Zed, and Zed didn't want to say more. It was hard for her not to believe that Zed had ulterior motives.

"... This deal..."

Before she could finish her words, Zed answered, "I believe that it's no big deal for Miss. Anna. I will prepare the Frethy Jade."

"I think there is something wrong..." But she can't speak it out, "I need time..."

"No problem. Wish us pleasant cooperation."

After that, Zed stood up, shook hands with Freda and then left, leaving Freda alone in the room to think.

Seeing that Zed left, Rex immediately went into the private room and sat down.

"Boss, what did Zed say?"

But Freda ignored him and kept thinking when she and Zed were childhood playmates?

With a pout, Rex reached out for the document in front of the desk.

As soon as he saw the name, he shouted, "Boss? Is Zed looking for you?"

"... I don't know."

"Here is written, Freda Ivans?"

"There are many people called Freda in the world. I don't know him at all." Freda can't figure it out. She subconsciously felt that the person Zed was looking for had the same name.

But since Zed mentioned Manhattan Villa, Freda had some other ideas.

After reckoning the time, Freda went back to the residence of Rex and cleaned herself up. Then she called Zed.

"When will you go back?"

Without saying anything else, Zed was stunned and asked, "Where are you?"

It was impossible for Freda to tell the exact location, so she looked up and saw the CBD downstairs opposite.

"I'm in the CBD of Road Auspicious."

"Okay, I'll send someone to pick you up."

Then she hung up the phone and told Rex.

"Help me pay attention to the information about the 22nd building of Manhattan Villa and find a way to buy it for me."

"Got it."

Then, she left quickly and rushed to the CBD, as if she had been shopping for a whole day.

However, she met Violette Smith halfway.

Freda hid behind a pillar subconsciously. She can't let Violette Smith know that she didn't go to the company but went out for fun instead. Otherwise, she might go back to tell Master Smith.

Violette Smith didn't see her either. She pulled her friend and chattered, "You don't know what's wrong with my family now. Since that woman came in, my house has been like a shabby house in the countryside."

Hearing that, Freda had no good impression of Violette at all, and she was also dissatisfied with Zed. Except for Master Smith, the Smith family was all bad guys.

Seeing that Violette had gone far, Freda slowly came out from behind the pillar. Fearing that she would be caught by Violette, she decided to go directly to the first floor of Starbucks to wait.

"I'm at the first floor of Starbucks."

After sending the message to Zed, Freda sat in the Starbucks and waited quietly.

When Zed arrived, he suddenly felt a sense of familiarity when he saw the quiet person by the window.

It seemed that they had met and had a good relationship.

Seeing Zed's car, Freda quickly walked forward and got in the car. They didn't talk to each other in the back seat, and the driver in the front felt a little embarrassed.

When they arrived at the Smith family's house, Master Smith had already been waiting in the hall, staring at the two.

"Grandpa." As a person with a good temper to the old, Freda made Master Smith happy as soon as she entered the house.

Although Zed didn't like her, he tried his best to hold back his dislike to satisfy Master Smith.

Therefore, when Violette returned home after shopping, the atmosphere in the family was harmonious.

Violette Smith couldn't accept this.

Especially when she saw Freda sitting next to Master Smith, Violette lost her temper again.

"Hey! Don't sit next to my grandfather!"

As she spoke, she threw down the things in her hands and walked up to push Freda away.

When Master Smith was about to scold, he suddenly found that Freda was looking at Zed.

Freda just wanted to see if the contract was valid or not and whether Zed would defend her.

Seeing this, Master Smith didn't say anything and looked at Zed.

Seeing that her grandfather didn't say anything, Violette thought that her grandfather had no good impression of Emily White, so she became more arrogant.

Regardless of anything, she said, "You are so ugly. Do you still want to be my brother's wife? What dreams do you have? You'd better take the initiative to leave when grandpa is in a good mood."

Zed thought for a while and said, "Violette Smith, it's you that have made the decision for this family?"

Violette's face turned pale in an instant.

Zed was not Violette Smith's biological brother, and she was just a child of a relative. It was beyond the rules for her to say these words.

"Cousin, of course not..."

"So you are dissatisfied with Grandpa?"

"No, No."

"It has nothing to do with you whether Emily is fine or not."

Hearing this, Master Smith was really relieved. Although Zed didn't treat Emily White well, he still defended her in front of others, which didn't mean that he had bullied her.

Master Smith said slowly, "Violette, you're old enough. It was inappropriate for you to stay in the old house all the time. Find a day to go back to your home."

Violette was so frightened that she cried out. It was Master Smith's grace to let her live in the old house. Her family had received a lot of good treatment because of this.

If she left, her parents would not treat her well.

Thinking of this, Violette Smith knelt down beside him and cried, "Grandpa, don't drive me away! Grandpa, I've grown up with you since I was a child. You don't want me to leave, do you? I know my mistake, Grandpa. Please forgive me!"

Master Smith indeed was reluctant to part with her, but he had spoiled her too much.

Master Smith didn't say anything, so she had to beg Zed again.

"Cousin, I'm sorry. Please forgive me."

"You didn't do anything wrong to me."

She understood what he meant. He wanted her to apologize to Emily White.

Although she didn't want to, she had to apologize.

Freda was satisfied with what Zed had done. She had long been unhappy with the domineering behavior of Violette. Since he had defended her today, she could live a better life in the future.

"I'm sorry."

Violette Smith said reluctantly.

"It doesn't matter. Get up quickly!" Freda said instantly.

In fact, Freda knew that Master Smith was reluctant, so she'd better give him an out.

Getting her forgiveness, Violette Smith turned to look at Master Smith.

"Grandpa..."

"Get up. Wash your hands and have dinner."

Master Smith was still soft-hearted and finally chose to forgive her.
