Ghost's words almost scared Freda to death. She rushed up and was about to grab the mango from him.
"Master, what's wrong with your brain? You are allergic to it and still eat it!" Freda was so anxious that she began to curse.
Ghost held his mango tightly and refused to let it go no matter what Freda said.
"It's not serious. Let go of me. There is loratadine in my room. Just take one!"
Ghost didn't look like that someone was robbing his mango, but his wife.
How amazing that there was such a person in the world who was allergic to mangoes but still insisted on eating them after preparing medicine. Seeing that he was unwilling to let go of the mango, Freda had to withdraw her hand and scolded Ghost before entering the room to look for medicine for him.
However, after eating up the mango for a while, Freda still didn't come out of the room.
"What are you doing?" Ghost asked curiously.
But Freda didn't reply. She just stood there, holding a photo tighter and tighter.
Seeing that Freda didn't come out for a long time and didn't reply, Ghost went in to have a look.
As soon as Ghost entered, he found the thing in Freda's hand.
Without hesitation, Ghost rushed forward, grabbed the photo from the hand of Freda, and said, "Don't shuffle! Do you want to see how much heritage I have left to you? No, don't think about it..."
"You know my mother." Freda looked at Ghost expressionless, "Why did you save me that year?"
Ghost sensed the emotional change of Freda and knew that she was always troubled by dreams and emotionally unstable recently, so he could only comfort her, "I will tell you something, but..."
"It's not the right time, is it?" Freda interrupted him.
"I..." Looking at the indifferent Freda, there were thousands of words to gush out of his heart. He wanted to tell her the truth that he had loved her mother.
But he couldn't. It was not the right time. Apparently, it was not the right time for Freda to know the truth.
So Ghost had to control himself.
The whole room was quiet. For a moment, the two of them had nothing to say. One was unable to explain, and the other was reluctant to force.
After a while, Freda finally opened her mouth, "I know. I haven't found your medicine. Hurry up and find it yourself."
Freda saw the struggle of Ghost and knew that he must have some secrets, so he couldn't tell her for the time being, and she didn't want to make things difficult for him.
Over the years, Ghost had been her family member, brother, and father. Since Freda didn't want to see Ghost suffer because of her questioning, she had to change the topic by herself.
Seeing that Freda didn't ask any more questions, Ghost was moved, but he returned to be casual again. He laughed and said, "You can't even find a little thing? Get out! I'll look for it myself. Take the blood tube to the study."
Although Freda was curious about the relationship between Ghost and her mother, there were some things that Ghost couldn't tell and it was inconvenient to tell. Time would tell her slowly. She just needed to give Ghost some time.
As his secret was exposed, Ghost had to agree to help Freda check the poison.
With the blood of Master Smith, Ghost was busy all afternoon. When Freda woke up on the sofa, it was already 6 o'clock in the afternoon.
There were several missed calls on the phone, all from Zed Smith.
She called back in a hurry. She cleared her throat and changed into Emily White's voice.
"Honey, are you looking for me?" Freda said in a frivolous tone on purpose.
"..."
Zed Smith, sitting in the car, suddenly regretted calling her.
"What's wrong?" Seeing that Zed didn't cooperate, Freda awkwardly restored to her original condition and called honestly.
"Where are you?"
Was he afraid that she would run away from home again?
"Well... Outside," Freda stammered
"When will you come back?"
"I'll take a taxi home later. Don't wait for me to have dinner." Then Zed quitted asking. It was not until then that Freda realized it was late and she should go back home as soon as possible.
Zed Smith hung up the phone without saying anything.
"Zed Smith is an uneducated man! He doesn't look like my grandfather at all!" Freda shouted at the screen which was already black.
Hearing her call, Ghost came out of the study with a hand-written list of medicine.
"I know you are lazy. Take it back to detoxify him. The medicine is mild, but it dissipates a little slowly."
With joy, Freda jumped up, took the prescription from Ghost, and was about to rush out.
"Stop!" Ghost grabbed her arm and said, "Don't say it was from me."
Freda nodded and left the residence of Ghost.
Freda got in a taxi, and she changed her look as the car moved. When she got out of the car, she was different from head to toe. The driver didn't notice the process. He was so shocked when taking the money that his hand was slightly trembling.
When Freda arrived at the Smith family's house, Zed Smith was playing chess with Master Smith in the living room, while Adrian was watching the battle with a cup of unknown stuff in his hand.
The servants ignored Freda deliberately as if they didn't see her.
But Freda didn't care about it and was about to go upstairs briskly.
However, Master Smith saw her and said with a smile, "Emily is back! Come here!"
Without thinking, Zed Smith knew that Master Smith was going to pull him and Emily together again. Zed's face darkened and he sat there angrily.
Adrian was ready to watch the show. After all, his sister-in-law was a good fighter.
Although reluctant, Freda slowly walked towards them.
"Grandpa..."
"Emily went out for fun? Why didn't you let Zed pick you up?" Master Smith gave Zed a complaining look.
Zed Smith cast a sharp glance at Freda and warned her not to talk improperly.
Being stared at, Freda was speechless and said on purpose, "Grandpa, Zed is very busy. I'd better not disturb him..."
Seeing that Freda was lying intentionally, Zed Smith immediately took out his phone and wanted to expose her.
"But he is nice. He called me and I said I would be back later, so he didn't come to pick me up."
Seeing that she was sensible, Zed put away his phone.
Being pinched, Freda was so angry that she ran into Zed Smith on purpose when she went upstairs and hid in her room quickly.
After entering the room, Freda first sent a message to Master Smith with her phone and asked him to meet to talk in detail tomorrow.
Then she sent an anonymous e-mail to Zed Smith, telling him that he was poisoned.
Freda had been hesitant to tell Zed Smith about it for a long time because she was afraid of exposing her identity.
After all, she shouldn't have known about Zed Smith with the identity of Freda.
As Emily White, she shouldn't know about the two, Zed Smith and Master Smith.
For a moment, it was difficult to make a decision.
But tonight, Zed threatened her that she would not talk to him as Freda!
