Lacey Jones couldn't answer Zed Smith's question, so she just hemmed and hawed. At last, she smiled awkwardly. She couldn't tell him that she came after him, not to mention that his wife was still with him.
Holding her arms, Freda looked at Lacey as if she was looking at her enemy.
Lacey Jones then turned to Freda and said, "Nice to meet you, Mrs. Smith."
Seeing her pretending, Freda almost snorted. Thinking of what Lacey had done to her last time, Freda felt uncomfortable, so she held Zed in her arms and said sweetly, "What a coincidence, Secretary Jones."
What could Lacey Jones do? Seeing that the man she admired was already in the arms of another woman, she could only bite her lower lip. "I came here with my family. I accidentally saw Mr. Smith, so I came up to greet you."
Lacey completely ignored the dodge of the two people just now and regarded the chase of the three people as an ordinary greeting, so Freda almost laughed out loud.
