He dared to say something bad about Read, but if it came to work, he had nothing to say.

Seeing that Galen Longman was angry, the crowd dispersed in a hurry and dared not say anything more.

As soon as Read walked out of the building, Freda received a call from him.

"Well, you don't need to wait for dinner. Let's have lunch now."

Lying on the sofa, Freda asked, "What's wrong?"

"Galen Longman guessed what you were going to do, so he dismissed me."

Freda laughed out loud. "He dismissed you?"

"Yes, I'm a toyboy now. Stop talking nonsense. Come and pick me up!"

Without saying anything else, Freda got up from the sofa and said, "Okay, I know!"

When Freda was about to go out, she received a strange phone call.

She answered it curiously.

"Miss Ivans, I have a gift for you at your door. I hope you like it."

Then he hung up the phone.

Freda's face darkened.
