Zed Smith was very angry but had to listen to his wife.
The servants stood up and greeted them respectfully as soon as they saw Zed and Freda.
Freda nodded slightly at them. With the aura that no one was allowed to get close to him, Zed ignored them.
After the servants left, they still had a lingering fear. They nervously patted their chests. Nobody knew how much they had heard just now.
After the servant went far, Freda gave him a sly smile. "Mr. Smith, do you know what you look like now?"
"Like an old hen protecting a chick, ha-ha." Zed Smith was unmoved by her laughter.
"What? It's so funny! Why don't you laugh?"
"Don't you feel angry?" Zed Smith pinched her face to make her look into his eyes.
"Why should I be angry? They are right. If it weren't for Emily White, we wouldn't be together." Said Freda with a cheeky smile.
Zed Smith looked at her motionlessly and asked seriously, "Do you really think so?"
