As soon as Ghost finished his words, he went back to his room. And meanwhile, Zed Smith held tightly the hand of Freda subconsciously.
Feeling the tremble on her hand, Freda turned around and saw Zed Smith's pale face.
"Zed!" "Don't be afraid. It's okay. Nothing serious..."
"What if grandpa leaves me?" Zed Smith only felt scared. If he hadn't been with Freda all his life, he wouldn't have known Ghost, let alone cure grandpa. Perhaps he didn't even know Master Smith's death.
"Only our family can do this. An outsider can't let grandpa eat poison every day," said Zed Smith with lingering fear.
Freda nodded. "Should we tell Grandpa about it?"
Zed Smith thought for a while and said, "Grandpa is not stupid, so there is nothing to hide. Just tell me, grandpa can be on guard, or think about who can do this."
After returning to the room, there were only Master Smith and the butler left.
