Chapter 26 The Execution Ceremony of Giant Dragon

He was too reckless. He didn't even know this, and he dared to go to the human world.

"Kid! Look at that place!"

Just then, there was a loud sound in the sky. Another blue dragon streaked across the sky. This one was bigger and looked like a male. The blue dragon in the sky looked ferocious. He stared fiercely at the Dragon Hunter.

Neigher looked at them nervously and clenched his fists unconsciously. It was the first time in his life that he had seen another dragon. Maybe he should go to help.

"He is here to save this dragon." Bhakti stood still calmly.

The crowd around them panicked when they saw this scene. They shouted and moved their goods and animals away. Many people hid behind the Dragon Hunter. But they didn't run away as Neigher expected. Instead, many people gathered in the distance to watch this scene.

The princess's troop didn't leave too far. Neigher saw the young girl in the carriage stand up and put her head out of the carriage as if she was afraid that she couldn't see clearly.

"Giant dragon is here. You and others don't seem to be so scared. Why?" Neigher asked.

"Why? Because the Dragon Hunter is right there." Bhakti seemed to speak out some common sense that everyone knew.

A scornful smile appeared on the corner of the mouth of the Dragon Hunter on the execution ground, with two swords in his hands.

The blue dragon in the sky was irritated by his smile. After circling two circles, the blue dragon made up his mind and swooped towards the Dragon Hunter.

Neigher's heart beat faster. The Dragon Hunter looked so insignificant in front of the blue dragon. However, the black armor and the two large swords were placed there. His aura was not inferior to that of the blue dragon.

In the blink of an eye, a light flashed on the execution platform and the Dragon Hunter shot out like a bullet. He rushed towards the blue dragon with his extraordinary physical quality. His big sword broke through the blue dragon's scales and stabbed into his neck.

Blood splattered.

The battle ended in the blink of an eye.

The blue dragon's howl came from afar. He fell heavily on the ground, covered his throat with his forepaws, and struggled desperately to climb forward the execution ground. The female blue dragon was right in front of him. However, she didn't have any reaction.

The onlookers took a few steps back because the blood spurted from the blue dragon's neck artery splashed on their clothes.

The Dragon Hunter landed on the ground in the distance and walked over unhurriedly. He stood by the neck of the blue dragon, said something to him, and then raised his sword.

The sun passed through the clouds and shone on the two blue dragons. The male blue dragon wanted to say something to the female blue dragon. However, his broken throat seemed to be unable to speak.

Then, the Dragon Hunter waved his sword two times. And the two blue dragons' heads rolled down the execution platform. The action of the Dragon Hunter was not sloppy at all.

The crowd applauded and then dispersed. The princess's carriage slowly drove into the Giant City.

Only then did Neigher realize that his clothes had been wet with sweat.

Was the Dragon Hunter so powerful? It turned out that human beings were so powerful? Was that the reason why the dragon mother was afraid of humans?

But Neigher felt something was wrong. He didn't feel the majesty of the giant dragon from the two blue dragons. Besides, they looked different from the blue dragon in the inherited memory.

"They are not giant dragons," Bhakti whispered to him.

Neigher raised his eyebrows.

"At least they are not real dragons. Besides, I don't think they are even mixed-blood dragons. They are only a subspecific descendant of a giant dragon. Maybe magus is secretly casting a spell in the distance, making us deeply believe that they are giant dragons." "It's not easy to beat a real dragon. But no one has seen it for a long time."

"So the Dragon Hunter let the male dragon save the female on purpose to show their strength to the public?"

"I think so. The Dragon Hunters have to make the public believe that they are protecting the city by hunting dragons because there is no real dragon now. So they can only use this method to perform."

However, his words didn't comfort Neigher much. No one had seen the real dragon. Didn't it mean that dragons were rare in number and weak in the face of humans?

"Do you believe there is still a real dragon?" Asked Bhakti.

"I don't believe," said Neigher.

"Oh, I thought you would say that you believe. I hope there are still real dragons. I miss the time when giant dragons flew in the sky."

Giant dragons were evil, weren't they? Would humans be yearning for giant dragons? Neigher glanced at Bhakti.

"I'm leaving. What are you going to do after entering the city?" Bhakti straightened his robe.

"I... I haven't decided yet. Are you going to join the princess's troop?"

"I think so. Do you want to go with me?"

Neigher admitted that he was indeed a little scared at that moment. He was digging his own grave. Because he didn't fully understand the human world before he came out to take risks. But the experience of his previous life quickly calmed him down.

He realized that he had only two choices. The first one was to go back now and come back here when he got more information about the human city. However, when he went back, he had to face the extremely dangerous dragon mother.

The second one was to follow the person in front of him. From the conversation just now, Neigher knew that the divine officer next to him had a high status. He should be the right hand of the princess. Moreover, ordinary humans could not use "miracle". Although it seemed very dangerous to enter a human city, there might not be such a good guide in the future.

"Uncle Bhakti."

"What?"

"Do you think if I can be your disciple after I enter the city?"

"What?"

Bhakti looked very surprised.

"Ah... That's a good question."

After hesitating for a while, Bhakti replied seriously.

"You are very different. You have the knowledge and mentality that are far beyond your age. Besides, we have a good talk. From the beginning of our conversation, I feel that our future fate will be intertwined. But... But you see, I am just a divine officer, not a magus who can have disciples."

"It doesn't matter. Just let me work for you." Said Neigher.

"Well... I know. But there are some other reasons. The Giant City is very dangerous. There are many famous Dragon Hunters here. They are cruel to the outsiders."

After hesitating for a while, Bhakti looked at Neigher and said.

"I'm sorry. You are not a human, right? But what kind of transformation magic did you use?"

Neigher's heart was pounding. But his expression didn't change.

"Why did you say so?"
