Haile along with an excited Nalisa were free falling from a cold snowy mountain top, the wind pressure and cold was so high that even a plane would freeze and be knocked out the sky.

But here they were two adrenaline junkies scaling this magnificent mountain, to make it even more exciting Haile sealed away both their power, they were now as weak as a normal human but with cold resistances they were good in the temperature.

.""NALISA WE HAVE TO START SLOWING DOWN OR WE'LL HIT THE GROUND!!!"".

.""WHAT?!!!"".

.""WE, WILL, HIT THE GROUND!!!"".

.""I CAN'T HEAR YOU MASTER!!!"".

Nalisa nodded her head reaching to the side of her leg pulling out 20 small knives, she calculated the distance in her mind and throw them all connected by a string.

The 20 knives were stuck into the mountain, Nalisa placed the tip of her toes to touch the mountain, pulling on the strings she was able to slow herself down considerably.

Nalisa let go of the string before they pop and pulled out a few more knifes sticking them into the mountain, they broke almost upon impact but they did their jobs, one by one she was slowed to a complete stop.

."Phew, that was fun but very dangerous, master you ok?."Nalisa asked with a smiled, she look beside her.

~Silence~

Haile was nowhere to be found, Nalisa looked down, she squint her eyes as she saw a little dot getting closer to the ground."Uh oh."She said.

About 200 feet from the ground Haile was free falling with his arms folded.'Mm, I feel so free, now I know why those fools back in the old world would die for this experience.'He thought to himself with a melancholic feeling, he looked down to the approaching rocks.

.'If I let myself fall and hit, I will die in an instant, I won't feel pain or suffer and I would be free from the hardships of life.'Haile thought looking at it, the things the mind thinks of.'If I was a bitch I'd allow myself to escape here but unfortunately I'm not.'

Haile controlled his body midair and he allow it to become horizontal aligning his back to the ground, he drew in both his feet before kicking out both at the same time.

*Bam*!!!

He kicked the mountain effectively slowing his decent but breaking one of his legs in the mean time, Haile didn't make a peep from the pain, he twist his body in such a way that he got back closer to the mountain.

*Shhhh*!!!

Haile stuck his fingers into it slowing his decent at a immense rate, in seconds his fingers were grattered down to the second bone as blood sprayed everywhere.

Finally he got to the level where he could stop, he kicked the mountain kicking down stopping dead in his tracks, he backed flip landing on the ground and on one foot.

."And perfect landing."Haile said casually as he tried to do a perfection sign with his finger then realized they were missing, he looked to the other and they were missing also.

He sighed as he layed back on the ground looking up to the sky, a bit later Nalisa appeared by his side.

."Master, what were you trying to accomplish by doing this, you've hurt yourself pretty badly, even though I know you will be ok but my heart still aches for you."Nalisa said with her hand on her chest, her expression was calm but underneath that was a core of sorrow.

Haile remained silent for a bit before responding."...Why I do it, it's because, I'm afraid, Nalisa I'm afraid, but I can't stop, I can't hide, I don't want to stop, I've not been afraid many times in my life, but somehow I am now, I've become comfortable, i don't want to lose what I've gained so far in this realm."He said calmly.

Nalisa listened to him express himself to her, the slight vulnerability broke her heart but for some reason she could only be happy, because he trusted in her so much he'd tell his deepest darkest secrets.

."It's ok to be afraid master, it's ok, cause you are no longer alone, I can't speak for the other's but with me you can definitely be free, if you want to cry in my arms you can, it could only make me want to love and comfort you more."Nalisa said accidentally spilling her own feelings for him.

Haile remained silent just gazing up at the sky."Mmm, I don't know if I can, I don't think I'm strong enough to be any more vulnerable than I am now."He said, his eyes flashed and his body began to heal itself back, this was his body's own natural healing at the level he is at.

."Well If you change your mind I will still be here Master, so should we get going now, we still have alot more places to explore."Nalisa said softly as she held out her hand to her master.

Haile gazed at her hand for a bit before taking it getting up."I suppose so, let's get going then, I still have some things I want to do with you."He said not letting her hand go, he walked in front guiding her along.

Nalisa looked at Haile's muscular back, a back that holds alot of weight maybe more than it ever thought it would have to.'8 more days before master conquers the world, alot of people will die, both guilty and innocent, will I have the heart to do it.'She thought to herself glancing at Haile's hand holding her own.

In the blazing hot desert of Egypt, the worst nightmare of any traveler was currently taking place, the sands of the desert floor clouded the skies like a blanket, blocking all possibilities of vision.

No one in their right minds or at least not completely crazy would ever dare to traverse such a ground, or would they.

Currently two such crazy people were standing right in the middle, they were draped from head to toe with clothes hiding their identity and gender.

One was standing slightly behind the other respectfully, the other in front was holding a map infront of their face and glancing around confused.

What were they up to.

.""Hmm, I could've sworn, the map say we are standing directly on it, but I don't see anything, what do you think Nalisa?"".

.""I'm not sure master, let me see the map, Mmm it does say we should be on it right now, we may have to dig underground"".

That's right, the two crazy fools were Haile and Nalisa, they were the only ones crazy or in their case powerful enough to undertake such a task.

Right now they were on an adventure to find a lost tomb of an ancient powerful pharaoh, that once ruled a bustling human kingdom in the times of the Great Gods.

They were looking for his treasures, not because they were interested but because it was fun and something to do, so they decided to go treasure hunting.

."Alright stay behind me Nalisa."Haile said rubbing his hands together, he took a breath and concentrated, he point his palm to the ground then squeezed as if holding something.

*Rumble*!!!

As Haile made a lifting motion the desert floor beneath them shook violently, visibly one could see it rising as something was slowly piercing the surface.

In seconds appearing before them was an exotic entrance with stairs leading to below the desert sands.

It seems that whatever they were looking for was indeed buried deep within the earth with the passing of time and tribulations storms of the sandy persuasion.

."That should be it, let's go down and see what mummy is here with alot of booty for me to have."Haile said with a smiled as he licked his lips suggestively, he calmly went into the entrance.

Nalisa tilt her head.'Mmm, booty, treasure, pirate?.'She thought to herself failing to understand why he would bring it up when in an Egyptian tomb.

Seems even after her "accidental" sextual encounter with Haile she remained as innocent and cute as she always was.

Nalisa without more hesitation followed Haile into what was supposed to be a tomb entrance, as they went down the light from outside was no longer reaching them, eventually it became pitch black for a moment.

Luckily for Haile he could see in the darkness pretty good and Devils also had some kinda night vision being creatures of the night and all, so for the most part it didn't bother them.

As they walked down the stairs they noticed that the walls had some paintings depicting some weird looking creatures, they closely resembled bats but are much large and stranger looking.

They are also some humanoid depictions standing next to the bat like creature, but they could be anything, from Gods to a Devil, not ruling out the just human possibility.

Haile frowned his brow slightly.'I've seen that creature before, was it in a book, or maybe in one of the anime that God showed me.'He thought to himself, he then glanced to Nalisa opening his mouth before closing it quickly.

He almost committed an act of great stupidity, he was about to ask Nalisa if she recognized the creature, it's only been about a month since she could see.

Nalisa was luckily not paying attention to him, she was curiously looking at everything, she even enjoyed looking at the texture of the walls, it's great to have vision.

Finally they arrived at the bottom, they were greeted by a long and wide suspiciously smooth cordor going to the right.

Lining the walls were some dimly lit torches that somehow burnt with light and not fire, but after a long time it seems that the fuel whatever it is was running out.

At the very end of the cordor was a lone coffin on an elevated platform, Haile and Nalisa looked at the coffin then looked at each other.

Cute Chibi Haile."Suspicious?."

Cute Chibi Nalisa."*Nod* Yes, very."

Chibi Haile."Trap?."

Chibi Nalisa."Yes, definitely a trap."

Chibi Haile."Obvious trap."

Chibi Nalisa."Agreed."

Chibi Haile."Should we leave?."

Nalisa nodded, Haile nodded also, they both turned around walking towards the stairs holding hands.

."">WAIT WAIT, PLEASE WAIT, THIS IS NOT IN THE FUCKING SCRIPT, YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SAVE ME WITH A KISS, WHAT THE FUCK!!!<"".

As they were leaving a frustrated young female voice sounded out from the direction of the coffin.

Without looking back Haile smirked, he glanced at Nalisa giving her a secret wink which she caught onto instantly, Nalisa looked around confused."Huh, master did you hear something."She asked.

."Huh, no, you heard something, Mm, must be the wind, but just to be sure let's get out of here fast."Haile said as he picked up pace and stepped to the stairs.

."">DAMN BASTARD I KNOW YOU HEARD ME, RESCUE ME DAMMIT!!!<"".

Haile ignored it but Nalisa stopped him."Master I think I heard something again, it was like the annoying buzz of a fly, maybe a fly from the ancient past managed to survive?."She said looking around for the fly.

."">*Sniffle* my descendants are so heartless, even dare to call me a fly, *sniffle* Waaaaaaaaa LET ME OUT, LET ME OUT PLEASEEEEEE!!!<"".

.""*Pfft*"".

Nalisa laughed unable to keep it contained, now she was feeling bad for the poor voice."Alright master, I think that should be enough punishment for the trap, can't let an ancient mummy get a heartattack."She said smiling.

."You think so huh."Haile said with a smile of his own, he walked back down the stairs looking back at the coffin.

."">SO YOU DO HEAR ME YOU BASTARDS, *SNIFFLE* BOTH OF YOU ARE SO MEAN TO MEEE WAAAAAA!!!<"".

Haile plugged his ears as he sighed.'Yea, this is going to be annoying.'He thought with feelings of an impending doom."Alright alright, we can hear you so stop your sappy bawling please."

."">SO WILL YOU LISTEN TO ME?!!!<"".

."Yes yes, so stop the yelling."Haile said already getting tired of her personality."So who are you anyway."

."">Oh sorry, wait huh, y-you don't know who I am?<"".

Haile raised an eyebrow."Mm am I supposed to, sorry but if you are suppose to be famous or something then you're already long expired."He said casually.

."">No way, that can't be right, how did you get in here then, did you not come to rescue me???<"".

."Not that I know of, I just found a treasure map that showed location to here, it was just a lucky find, it has been going pretty nice till now I guess."Haile said casually placing his hands behind his back.

."">Th-then that means, you're not a vampire<"".

.""Nope"".

."">.....what the, what's is going on, only my descendant vampires should be able to enter my immortal tomb and find me, I wrote it in the scriptures of my clan<"".

~Silence~

A defening amount of silence reigned, Haile and Nalisa shared a glance, the coffin at the end of the cordor gained a depressed hue.

."">....Can you at least tell me one thing..<"".

Haile nodded."Sure, I will answer best I can, no promises but ask away."He said calmly.

."">My clan, does it still exist, Kami no Kyūketsuki<"".

Haile looked at the coffin for a moment before shaking his head bringing devastating news."No, it does not, I've never even heard of that vampire clan before, it probably was wiped out a long time ago."He said not beating around the bush or cutting corners.

."">..oh..I see, thanks then..<"".

The voice gained a dark hurting tamber.

."">Could you two leave now, there is no treasure here, only me, two miles south is my old fortress, you can get something from there as thanks<"".

The voice told Haile and Nalisa, they both accepted without much trouble, it was what they came here for after all, so they began heading back upstairs.

As they approached the exit Nalisa grab Haile's hand stopping their progress, she placed a finger on her lips and motioned to back down stairs.

Haile of course understood what she meant and shook his head with a sigh but still gave her face, he knows Nalisa is not like him to just leave someone like that to suffer.

They walked back down reaching the last step as they peaked around the corner to take a look at the coffin.

."">*Sob* Waaaaaa my pe-people<"".

."">I'm *sniffle* sorry *sob* I'm so sowwy Waaaaaa<"".

The vampire woman was crying her eyes out, her mind was truly broken as even through her telepathy speech one could hear the splitting ends of emotional exhausted vocal cords.

Nalisa's heart ached for her."Master maybe we should at least release her, maybe her clan still has some survivors she could find."She whispered, her eyes clouded with tears as well.

Haile looked at Nalisa realizing something, she also lost her clan didn't she, Nalisa who was meant to be a celebrated devil princess delegated to a mere maid by unfortunate circumstance.

She must have grown up hearing all those stories from her mother living in the human world, it made sense why she would feel so deeply for the sad vampire having lost everything as well.

Haile reached over to Nalisa who just looked at him not flinching no matter what he would do to her, she existed to please her master's desires after all.

*Pat*

.""Huh???"".

Nalisa looked stunned as she felt the weight on her head, almost like magic the tears that were settled in her eyes began to pour out like a tree that's been stabbed by a sharp knife.

."Ok, I will help her Nalisa, don't worry."Haile said gently, he leaned in and kissed her on the forehead with affection, he gazed into her eyes.

Nalisa's feet became like jello, she felt like her soul was taken from her body, but she didn't even mind it allowing herself to be sucked away.

."">Waaaaaaa *Sob*<"".

Instantly the atmosphere between them was shattered, Haile sighed."Let's help her quickly, I'm getting a headache."He said rubbing his forehead

."">Waaaaaa *crying*<"".

Haile walked out from the corner going in plain sight before the coffin where the lonely vampire was layed to rest."Hey stop the crying already."

."">WaaaaaAHHHHHH, W-WHAT ARE YOU DO-DO-DOING BACK HERE, I-I WASN'T CRYING IF THAT'S WHAT YOU THOUGHT YOU HEARD *BLUSH*<"".

Haile chuckled."Really, you weren't crying, I sure heard an awful lot of bawling and wait, did you just blush in telepathy?."He said confused about the last part.

."">*Blush* I-i umm, my eyes are raining, they're just particularly cloudy today *sniffle* *ahem*<"".

The vampire lady tried her best to suck her tears back inside, but even from her telepathy one could feel her emotional distress.

."Is that so, alright I'll take your word for it then."Haile said with a softly gently, he gazed at the coffin noticing something interesting.....

Haile shrugged his shoulders."Well I suppose you're right, then sorry for bothering you elder, I should take my leave to not disturb your eternal slumber."He said with a small hidden smirk as he turned around.

Haile raised an eyebrow."It's weird how you can do that, I'd like to learn it, seems like a fun prank to play on the girls."He said rubbing his chin in thought.

Now after things had become more settled Nalisa had come out and stood behind Haile who was seated on a throne as he conversed with the vampire lady.

."So, tell me who are you, clearly you said you were a vampire but who are you exactly."Haile asked as he tapped the armrest of his throne that he created.

."">*Ahem* ok then, bastard, hear my name and tremble in awe, for you stand before the Vampire Goddess, Queen Of The Ancient Night and leader of the Kami no Kyūketsuki clan of Ancient Vampire Lords *Grandiose* Clernet Kyūketsuki<"".

Haile and Nalisa shared a glance.'Should I tell her master?.'Maybe I should just do it fast so it won't hurt her feelings.'Yeah I guess so master'.

Haile cleared his throat."I've never head of you at all, I've also never heard of your clan, you were all probably wiped out and erased from history, it's a sad reality."He said casually.

Clernet went on and on talking nonstop, meanwhile Haile had already zoned out a bit putting together the pieces of information she had given him.

.'It seems like she does indeed come from another world than this one, but I can't rule out the possibility that she is just from ExE the sister dimension to DxD.'.....
