If ever Lola had a 'a-ha' moment, it would be the fact that the person right before her was actually really good looking. He has a boyish face carved out of marble and a very gentle appearance in his face. Yet, something about him felt utterly familiar. What was it?

She placed her ears near his chest to hear if his heart was still beating. Faintly, she heard it. Without thinking much, she leaned forward to perform human to human resuscitation on him in order to save him. Strange, somehow, she knew that she had to do this. Her mind was too fixated on saving the poor lad that she didn't realise his eyes had fluttered and his breathing had stopped.

Did she do it wrongly? She shifted her position and did the same actions again.

Once again, the breathing seemed weaker than before. She quickly placed her ears closer to the chest - odd. This time, the sounds were getting louder here.

"I'm... fine," finally a voice said hoarsely. She realised it was the young lad.

She took a step back, pretty glad that she had done a good deed. But... what does one do next?

She didn't know to leave him here (seems too cruel) or to carry him into her tiny hut (yet she had absolutely no means of taking care of another being).

"I have... money, do save me," the young lad murmured and she smiled slightly bashfully and nodded, "Times are bad, I'm sorry."

With that, she carried him and he supported his weight on her inasmuch as she could carry.

Once they were back at her shabby little hut, her mind wandered to the part about the fact that food would be an issue.

"Please use this to get the food and supplies that you need," the young lad said, noticing her solemn expression and she studied the heavy pouch that was handed to her uncertainly. This could possibly last them for decades or even a life time.

How long was he intending to stay for? Lola thought a little apprehensively when she heard a low growl.

The lad blushed and she patted his head, "It's fine, that's a sign of hunger. Alright, I'll go grab something for you then. Stay here and do not wander."

The lad nodded obediently and Lola stepped away to the kitchen. She eyed the stove apprehensively.
