As Da-eun pretended to sleep, she actually fell asleep for some time. Suddenly, she heard someone waking her up. "Da-eun! Oh dear, are you okay?! I was worried about you. You're a visitor after all!" The Queen Dowager exclaimed. The Queen Dowager was worried about HER? She must be a really kind host to her visitors, she's royalty, after all, Da-eun thought. The prince isn't here, that's good. I should be thinking of a way to get back to my old body, but instead, I'm trying to spite a prince... Ugh! I'm really something, she scolded herself. "Da-eun, shouldn't they have brought you to the royal clinic?" Questioned the Queen Dowager. "Ah, it's quite alright, Queen dowager. It's just her ankle, she'll be fine in a few days, according to the doctor." Replied Da-young.
A few days? Good, I'll be able to execute a different plan then. I won't have to attend the meeting tomorrow, thought Da-eun. "Da-eun, make sure to get plenty of rest, alright? Don't burden yourself!" The Queen Dowager insisted. Suddenly, Da-eun thought of her past life. How troubled she was. She was in debt and worked a hard 7-9 job to pay the bills and provide for her grandma. She doubted if she should ever come back. But she brushed off that nonsense, remembering she needed to continue providing for her grandma. Who else would take care of her? "Yes, Queen Dowager," Da-eun replied. "The concubine selection will happen soon. Make sure to feel better by the time it occurs! He-he!" The Queen Dowager chuckled. "Huh?" Da-eun responded in confusion. "Oh, nothing!" Her highness chuckled once again. "Da-young, are you going to make me attend the concubine selection?! Oh, please tell me you won't!" Da-eun exclaimed frantically. "Ah, that's.. well, um.." Da-young mumbled. "Noooo!"
