Zoe couldn’t believe that Dylan had managed to convince the superintendent to purchase two units. The property had only ever been a rental, and when she had originally requested to purchase her unit, the answer had been a BIG, FAT, NO!
She accepted that only because her landlord promised she could stay as long as she wanted. That apartment meant so much to her.
Not only because of the amazing views, but because it had been one of the first things she had done for herself, obtaining an apartment when she moved out from her parents. It was a sign of her independence.
Now, it meant so much more. It was the place she had met Dylan; it was where she got ready for her wedding. It was where they had shared so many memorable moments together. In the future it would be where they would raise their children.
Her mind whirled round and round thinking about this most amazing news. At every turn Dylan had done yet another wonderful thing for her, and the surprises never ended.
