Chapter 24 Pregnant

"Brother Liam is not an unreasonable person. He always repays kindness with goodwill and malice with animosity! He still remembers when his father was murdered."

"All & everyone blamed him for conspiracy to seize his father's assets but you were the first one of the people who trusted him." Samuel said with a smile and stopped, letting her process the information then continued,

"You tried to prove his innocence, yes! You couldn't! That's a totally different thing but still made an effort by going against people and taking a risk for him; So, how can he ignore your generous deed for him?" Samuel began to explain his reason, telling her about her deeds to save his brother in arms.

Now that she waits and thinks back to the time when she put her line to prove Liam's integrity, it all made sense. She couldn't have thought Liam would remember her actions!

Thinking of this sudden warmth spread in her heart!

Ariana accepted the gift from Samuel thanking him and telling him to thank Liam on her behalf.

Samuel checked his watch and smiled apologetically at Ariana and said, "Sorry, it's getting late. I can't accompany you anymore; I have to go. Brother Liam must be waiting for me to return soon!"

"It's okay! We won't delay you any more and again thanks for this gift and don't forget to thank him on my behalf when you get back!" Ariana smiled at Samuel again thanking him and sending him away. She waved at her driver telling him to start the car.

Watching the car leaving in the distance Samuel turned to look at Daniel, looking in his eyes...

Feeling Samuel's gaze on him Daniel froze but he quickly got himself together and turned in his direction making some random excuse to slip from here unscathed. "I... I... Seems like I wasn't in my right mind! Maybe I got a hangover or something don't worry I will treat him nicely next time." he searched for a good excuse to tell Samuel.

He was already frightened from today's events and wanted to go home as soon as possible. He didn't want to stay with this man around him alone. His smile looks kind and gentle but for him, it was like a smile of the grim reaper! He didn't wish to linger there any longer than necessary. Just standing in front of him makes his whole body numb!

"Drink too much you say? It didn't seem like you were drunk. So don't pretend to be drunk." Samuel said as he narrowed his eyes.

"I... I am really telling the truth. I am drunk, I need to sober up!" Daniel said, still trying to find an excuse.

He started to walk towards his car and hurriedly took out his keys from his pocket trying to enter in.

But Samuel stopped him as he walked to him and said. "You look quite exhausted, why not take some rest here?" he said after coming to Daniel.

"No...no, I am not tired! See I am perfectly fine." Daniel began to shake his head frantically, jumping to confirm his words to Samuel; but he suddenly froze when he felt killing intent locked on his body.

He turned his head slowly in fear, his eyes panicked when he saw cold killing intent coming from Samuel.

His body broke out in a sweat, he tried to think of something as his mind ran like a horse but it was already too late to do anything.

"No, you are indeed tired, that's why you are saying that," Samuel replied and placed his hands on his waist.

*FUCK!*

Watching this Daniel's whole body froze as an ice statue and chill ran through his body. He wanted to move but he couldn't!

Samuel drew his dagger and it flashed at lightning speed that can't be seen by normal humans and placed it on Daniel's throat-cutting it likes hot butter through the knife.

"When you reincarnate, remember to take care of your mouth next time," he said as he put his dagger back in its place.

After dealing with Daniel, Samuel moved out of the villa as if there was nothing wrong with him.

What I regret is that Daniel didn't know what hit him even when he died.

Coming to the freeway, there was an ordinary car parked at the side of the road. He walked to the car, opening the door he entered.

When he got in the car he looked back only to watch Liam sitting in the back seat of the car with his eyes closed and a cigarette in his hands.

Samuel opened his mouth looking at the rearview mirror, looking at Liam and responded with respect, "Brother Liam, I have done what you asked me to do."

Liam opens his eyes and looks out of the window taking a puff of a cigarette and asks Samuel in a serious tone. "What about the matter I have told you to investigate?" still looking outside the car window.

Samuel took a deep breath and opened his mouth to summarise the result of the investigation. "I have sent people to look for the information regarding Miss Anastasia and found out that she has left or should I say compelled to leave from the city about the same time after she helped you to escape from here."

Samuel told Liam about the invention and paused after speaking again, "after your escape as I told you before she was forced to marry Madeline Lewis's younger brother Alex Lewis but she didn't want to marry him and protested against the marriage And..."

Samuel again took a break before he said something that made Liam's entire face that looks calm crumble under his next words. "And...She was pregnant at that time!"

"What?!!!"
