Chapter 31 No Need

"Within my expectation!" Liam hung up the call and started to walk in the direction of the hotel.

If Bram Morgen didn't have died then maybe all those big families would have already come knocking on his door. But Liam will be sure to pay them his solace.

Thinking of what would be their reaction, a smirk appeared on his face.

After walking for a few minutes he appeared in front of the hotel entrance where he saw two beautiful girls talking. One of those was Lilian and the other he didn't seem to have families with, maybe Lilian's friends or classmates.

When Liam appeared at the front door of the hotel they also turned to look at him.

"Sigh~"

Lilian sighed as she watched Liam walking in their direction.

Seems like she can't get rid of him. Today is destined to be extraordinary.

Rosie's eye lit up when she saw him walking towards them. She understood who he was when she saw him. According to her, he doesn't look any bad; with his height and stature, he looks kinda handsome.

"Hello, are you perhaps Liam?" She waved her hand and asked.

"Don't try to get close to him!" Lilian warned her.

"Why?! He doesn't look as bad as you say. Even he looks kinda handsome!" Rosie replied.

"Okay! Don't play with him or we will be late." Lilian said.

Rosie didn't say anything and just giggled at her words.

"Hi, I'm Rosie, Lili's friend. You can call me by my name!" she stretched out her hand for a handshake.

"Liam Lewis," Liam nodded his head in reply without any expression on his face which stunned Rosie.

If it was anyone else, they would be jumping from the sheer excitement of shaking hands with her but that didn't happen with Liam. She was shocked after witnessing this scene, she thought that he would grab her hand and blush; something like that. But he poured cold water on her expectations.

Lilian was also shocked when she saw this, she also has the same thoughts as Rosie.

"Well... what do you do for a living?!" Rosie asked to try to ease the awkward situation.

"Nothing!" Liam answered flatly.

"Or... Maybe you are studying?!"

"Owning your Business?!"

"Anything?!"

Rosie continued to ask when we couldn't get any confirmation from him.

"Staying home, unemployed, returned from abroad just recently; nothing more," Liam replied.

Rosie feels sorry for him after learning of this.

"..."

Silence~

The entire atmosphere turned awkward after this scene.

"Why… don't we head inside and sit?! Let's go, Lili." Rosie took Lilian's hand and walked into the hotel. Liam also followed behind them.

After some time, they arrived in front of the private room they had booked before. When they entered the room they were shocked to see no one there.

"Maybe they are running late! Let's sit here and wait for them,"

Rosie, Lilian and Liam took their respective seats at the table. After the previous conversation, the entire atmosphere becomes odd and no one wanted to start a conversation with Liam.

Liam doesn't mind that actually, it would be better if they don't start any unnecessary talk with him so, he took out his phone and started to scroll through it.

"I..hmm..." Rosie wanted to say something as she looked at Liam and hesitated.

"Hmm?!... Do you have anything to say?! If so, you can just say it to me!" Lisa said when he saw her hesitated.

"It's just... I... If you want I can tell my dad regarding your employment..."

"Thank you! But there is no need for that. I appreciate your help." Liam suddenly interrupted her knowing where this topic was heading towards.

Rosie wanted to help him to look for employment in his father's company. But she didn't think that another party was this shameless. Didn't even let her finish speaking and interrupted her.

Rosie comes in front of a very well endowed family. Her family may not be powerful like Liam's former family or other high class families of England but that doesn't mean that they are small families.

Her father's business is running well during this period and they very well fall into the category of Middle-upper class family. Her father even bought her a car worth more than five hundred thousand dollars recently after their company bloomed lately.

She just wanted to help the other party thinking he looks somewhat sincere but who would have thought he would reject her kind offer of helping him.

She was feeling so angry at this moment. Her family had raised her well to handle this kind of situation and not to lose her temper but even so, she couldn't help but feel disgusted toward him.

And that was even more when she saw the limited edition analogue mechanical watch on his wrist. According to her estimation, this kind of watch must cost at least around seven million; but she knew it was fake.

Her disgust for him grew more and more after she knew this!

Suddenly, an idea popped into her mind and she smiled happily at him.

"Are you hungry?! If so, we can order something before the other arrives!" she proposed to him.

"Okay!" Liam didn't think of anything and replied flatly. Anyway, he was feeling kind of hungry so it's not bad to take a bite or two.

Hearing his reply Rosie's smile grew more. If one looks at her face then they wouldn't feel anything other than her beautiful face and charming smile which is enough to mesmerise any man out there, but if one looks at her closely then they could see something brewing in her mind.

Liam actually saw this but he didn't care about that.

Lilian at the side was puzzled by this. She knew her friend very well so, she couldn't help but think about why Rosie did this kind of thing.

She thought that maybe Rosie liked him and wanted to warn her but stopped when she saw Rosie wink at her.

Looking at Rosie, she realized there must be some devilish scheme taking shape in her mind. She is very close with her friend so how did she not know but she didn't tell her to stop. She herself also wanted to teach this piece of trash a lesson of his life.

'You like to act courageous! Huh... Let's see how you act like one after today!' She thought while looking at Liam.
