003 : Academy

I spent most of the next morning making a makeshift treadmill which worked quite good for its level of jank.

Since I wanted no one to know about my real strength level untill I was capable of handling myself, I decided not to even show them training, as if everything was normal.

It was a mechanical treadmill so I didn't need anything except a few cylindrical metal bars that I salvaged from an old abandoned house in the area with a few things that were available in here.

I got on it as I slowly started running, in just a few minutes I reached my top speed, which was about 50 Km/hr.

I ran for a few minutes as I started feeling my breath getting heavy.

With a few [Wind style : Large breath] every few seconds, I was able to run for an extended period of time.

I stopped as I lied down and gasped for air, tired beyond what I was used to, using the Jutsu again and again until my chakra was finally exhausted.

My whole body was covered in sweat as I was feeling thirsty, making my way to the fridge, I took out few chilled bottles of water as I drank them.

*Aahh* a voice of satisfaction escaped my throat as I looked towards my hands.

Just after half an hour of running, I was out of strength, this went to show how little little strength and physical stamina I possessed in comparison jonins who spanned entire countries on foot without stopping in a few days.

I ate a few raw tomatoes lying in the fridge as I made my way back to training area I made.

I picked up some dumbbells lying around as I started doing sets with them.

Slowly but surely, I could feel my chakra making it's way to my muscles, soothing them, relieving the pain, facilitating their growth and strengthening them in process.

Over the days, I continued my physical training along with jutsus that increased my efficiency while training such as [Large breath]

My chakra levels were increasing at a steady rate, so was my physical strength and stamina.

In a couple of weeks or so, I reached level of a Genin just with physical strength and stamina.

That was a big win for me, reaching the first milestone.

The Academy was due open in another week, I had to make good use of this remaining one.

Since I wanted to avoid detection, I would have to raise my own sensing ability, from what I know from my past memories, danzo had assigned me two chunins from his Root.

They will start to tail me the moment I leave the clan estate till the moment I come back.

Since I was just a broken child in his eyes, he didn't think I would be able to avoid them.

I had one advantage now, my sharringan was awakened.

Even if it was just the first tomoe, My visual abilities increased to whole another level, I could see through pretty much everything like chakra x-ray.

I can see lines of chakras moving down the road, the chakra that lingers in the air, chakra that is present outside any human being.

Range of my detection was about 300 metres, byakugan can see upto tens of kilometres easily,

so my range was pretty decent if you ask me, however sharringan was made to be used in close combat.

So, for the rest of my time I decided to train my sensing abilities with sharringan, and in general too, I don't want to be overtly dependant on them.

I supplied chakra to them and tried to keep them on for as long as I could.

This was where the purity of bloodline showed itself, the purer your bloodline, more efficient your sharringan will be.

Since my purity of bloodline was pretty much maxed out, I could keep it on for quite a long time with the chakra levels I possess.

I turned into a machine that just trained and trained itself.

Surely, the one weeks' time ended and it was finally time to go out, even if reluctantly, I had to up for appearance sakes.

Who knows, I may make a few friends here and there.

### POV - 3rd ###

In a dark room, a man with his one arm covered in bandage, one eye closed, looked at the crystal ball as he smiled with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

"Sparrow, Raven, from now on you'll keep an eye on him, I don't want him to disappear so soon, keep him under surveillance!"

He said as the two kneeling ninjas at his feet said "Yes sir" and disappeared in a flicker.

The man smiled as he scratched his chin and said "Let's see how man new seeds grow into the root"

### POV - MC ###

The new session started.

Dressed in the iconic blue shirt with uchiha clan symbol on my back, for the first time in the month I left the uchiha estate.

As soon I left the place, I could feel two presences following me from not too far.

*Tch* "That old wrinkly bag of meat and bones won't leave alone until I tear him apart, will he??" I said as I ran in a modest speed towards the academy.

It was an 8 minute journey.

I could see the crowd outside of the academy, new students being enrolled in, their parents coming to send them in hope they will become a great ninja one day.

It was all just a place for brainwashing of children, it was the ripe age to do so, in the five years they'll spend in academy, they will be instilled with the "Will of Fire" bullshit every day.

I can't blame them, in this dog eat dog world, if you are not powerful, you need a number of loyal supporters to keep up the prestige.

I skipped the bullshit speech as I went into the classroom, sat in the back and started a bit of leaf meditation technique for chakra control.

My control was around 27% right now, I need to get it to a 100% before getting to chunin level strength.

The reason was simple, if your chakra control is perfect at the beginning, when your chakra levels grow, the control won't dissipate easily while your reserves will grow in a systematic and controlled way without any surprises.

The leaf training becomes ineffective after 30% of chakra control, so I was pretty close to completing it.

I could see the spies from root waiting outside the academy for me to come out.

It was all due to some things that were different in this timeline.

The academy had 10 teacher that had more than 10+ years of experience as chunin, had 4 coordinators of main subjects, one each for ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu and bukijutsu.

These coordinators were either special jonins or were experienced jonins that were injured in fight.

These special instructors change every few months so no one ever truly taught anything useful.

While the principal of the academy was Shisuke kurimiya, he was an elite jonin that retired a few years back, and would at most be a year or two younger than Hiruzen and Danzo.

Since root was supposed to be 'not discovered', these spies kept out from the academy, even if it was an open secret among the higher ups that root was still functional.

Slowly the class started filling with extras as I sat down like normal student, keeping up that 'cold' persona.

Girls were giving me glances every few minutes while I could sense the gaze of jealousy from the boys.

I paid no mind to them as I saw the main characters enter one by one.

The first one to enter was Shino, with a very quiet attitude, almost not sensable due to his quiet and low presence.

Second were Choji and Shikamaru, choji wad eating chips with one hand while somehow managing to drag Shikamaru into the class with another.

Then came in Hinata the shy girl followed by two bickering girls, one having pink colored hair, while other had golden blonde hair.

Yes, they were Sakura and Ino, fighting over some random shit.

Fortunately they hadn't started eyeing me yet, and in my memories, they were just like other classmates, not that special.

The only person that I could sternly remember from my memories was naruto, and that too due to his loud mouth and everyday try to challenge me.

Iruka came into the class as he started taking the attendance, it was about to be over as naruto and kiba broke in through the door, tearing the paper and breaking a few wooden supports as they both yelled at the same time "Present Sir!!!!!"

Iruka gave them a stink eye as he said "I told you two specially to be not late, and even if you are late, DoNT BreAk The DOOR!!!" yelling towards the end.

They both asked for forgiveness in a dramatic way as he punished them with 5 rounds of the ground.

The class returned to normal in a few minutes as he started giving up the new year speech, how the will of fire was strong in us, how konoha was the strongest village, how we were the future of it and etc...
