Big Problem in a Small Package

Min Jun kissed Jessie on the forehead. "Wake up, sleepyhead."

"Um, work time?" Jessie's words slurred with sleep.

"Fei Fei's on his way up. I could use some help dressing. Plus, I need to run something by you."

"So early?"

"It's not that early. Help me up."

Running out of time, Min Jun broached the subject of Dillon while they cleaned up and dressed.

"I've got this problem with a kid."

"What's happening?" Jessie asked.

MJ recounted his experience with Dillon. "He's a talented kid, but he's too young for the team, you know? And he's arrogant. The kid knows everything. He's a genius. He knows it, and he makes sure everyone else knows it. And he's a baby. The other boys are teenagers. As bright as he is, he's still childish.

"To be honest, most of the time, I want to tuck him under one arm and give him a lollipop to suck on just to make sure no one steps on him."
