Surprise! You're Pregnant

Dae Jung replaced Min Jun's paper and pen with a touchscreen tablet. Bonus! It had a text-to-voice option, but the downside was he sounded like an Australian tenor who drank too much and slurred his words. It was still better than no voice for six weeks.

By the time they had ridden from the hospital to the Keepin' It Real complex, he had the hang of it and entertained Dillon with Australian renditions of Korean songs.

The trip up the elevator had Min Jun second-guessing his plan. What if Jessie guessed too soon? Worse. What if she didn't want the baby? What if what he saw as one of the happiest events of his life brought more misery to her? What if she was angry that he had asked the family to help him set up this surprise?

Maybe this wasn't a good idea. Perhaps this was a horrible idea. He punched the button to stop the elevator, and the cart jolted to a standstill.

"Hey, what gives?" Dillon asked.
