Shopped Out

By lunch, Steph was shopped out. However, Hong Gi still had a shopping list of items he wanted to pick up. She wouldn't be cooking dinner tonight. Instead, Steph dreamed of a hot bath, food delivery, and a foot rub.

They sent two bodyguards to the car with a couple of dozen packages, not to mention the items Hong Gi had arranged to have delivered directly to the condo. She stopped worrying about how much he was spending when he pulled out a black card and slid it through the reader to pay for the new bedroom set. It was the first time she'd ever seen a black card in person, and whether she wanted to admit it or not, she was impressed, probably more so than how generous he was with his money. More than half of the bags they had sent away were filled with products Hong Gi insisted suited her. They would need to rent an apartment at this rate just to house their personal items.
