One and Done

Luke could have sworn Kim was glaring at him through those ridiculous shades. But why? They'd met briefly at the club before Kim wandered off with some guy. From then on, he and Tate had spent most of the night together while Kim would pop by from time to time to check in, but he seemed to follow his own path.

Did Kim have a thing for Tate, or was he protective of his boss? The answer really didn't matter. Tate appeared to be his own man who would make his own decision about who he wanted to be with. And from what Luke gathered, Tate and Kim had known each other for quite a while. If a romance was meant to brew between them, it would have already happened.

Besides, it wasn't a good idea to date at work. Everyone knew that. Luke couldn't imagine having a thing for one of the BEXT crew. It would be like dating his brother.
