Chapter 11 Gold Would Shine Everywhere

Wendy Cassia looked at Louis Wellington blankly. He kept silent and obviously he didn't know about it.

Lowering her eyes, Wendy Cassia said softly, "My senior is in charge of the Born of Fire series."

Mr. Mohr nodded and replied with a smile, "Yes. But he still has other projects to take over, so your master recommended you. That's why he asked you to come to the party today."

On the other side, Louis Wellington kept a cold face. He looked at Mr. Mohr and asked, "Let her do it?"

His tone was light and casual, showing his doubt about Wendy's strength.

The Born of Fire series was of great importance to the Wellington Group. They were new seasonal products and no deviation was allowed. Once something went wrong, the loss of the group would be unimaginable.

"Mr. Wellington, don't underestimate Wendy. She is not inferior to her brother, or even a little better than him." Mr. Mohr was full of confidence in Wendy Cassia.

Previously, Louis Wellington had chosen Mr. George as the chief designer of his series, which had been decided through comparison and investigation. Now, it was hard for him to accept the fact that Mr. George suddenly wanted to be replaced by this new designer who he had never known before.

Wendy Cassia understood what Louis Wellington was thinking. A charming smile appeared on her pretty and delicate face.

"Thank you for your kindness, but Mr. Wellington has his own considerations. I think I'm not fit this position in his eyes yet."

Her attitude was soft, and even if she said something unpleasant, it would make people feel comfortable.

Louis Wellington raised his head. She didn't brag about her strength but from the other's point of view... She was an interesting woman.

"Mr. Wellington, it will be a big loss to the group if you don't hire Miss Cassia. I swear in the name of God." Mr. Mohr's eyes sparkled. Maybe it was because they were too thin, the light from his eyes was particularly concentrated, strong and bright.

Why did Mr. Mohr protect her so well?

Was it just because of the teacher's recommendation?

Wendy Cassia was confused, but she still kept a polite smile on her face. Raising her slender eyebrows slightly, she said, "Mr. Mohr, you're overpraising me."

Mr. Mohr's firm words made Louis Mr. Wellington feel a sense of compassion. He nodded slightly and said, "Since Mr. Mohr appreciates Miss Cassia so much, I'm willing to have a try."

Then he took out a business card from the pocket of his suit jacket, put it on the table and pushed it in front of Wendy Cassia. "Come here tomorrow."

The golden framed business card shone brightly, and Louis Wellington's name was even more dazzling.

"Miss Cassia, what are you hesitating about? Put it away." Mr. Mohr urged.

Wendy Cassia took a look at the business card and then fixed her eyes on Louis. With a smile on her cherry red lips, she said smoothly and politely, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity, Mr. Wellington. But I have my own studio. If I work in the group, I have a few conditions."

She was the first woman who dared to bargain with Louis Wellington.

Louis was unpredictable and even Mr. Mohr didn't dare to talk to him like that. Mr. Mohr coughed and said, "Miss Cassia, you..."

Louis Wellington blinked his eyes and interrupted Mr. Mohr, "Say it."

"Don't occupy the weekend time. If I finish the task in advance, I have to leave the company in advance."

Only in this way could she ensure that she had time to manage her studio.

After Wendy Cassia put forward her request, she smiled and said, "Of course, under the condition of ensuring the working effect, if there is a project, I will distribute my time according to the project."

She was an independent woman.

Louis Wellington's eyes were sharp with coldness around him.

Seeing that the atmosphere was a little depressing, Mr. Mohr said as a middleman, "Miss Cassia can have her own studio, which also proves her strength. Since she has promised to leave after completing the task, why don't you agree, Mr. Wellington? Have a try."

"Since Mr. Mohr said so, I will agree."

Louis Wellington's eyes were as sharp as fire. He reached out his hand and smiled, "Miss Cassia, wish us a pleasant cooperation."

Holding his warm hand, Wendy Cassia replied with a smile, "Wish us a pleasant cooperation."

In the hall, the party was about to come to an end.

Franti Cassia stood at the door of the lounge, waiting anxiously.

"Why haven't they come out yet? What did they say?" She murmured, wandering around the door.

Just then, the door was pushed open and the three walked out of the lounge together.

Seeing Wendy, Franti Cassia didn't show any expression in front of Louis. She pulled Louis Wellington's hand and asked, "Did you say anything?"

However, Louis Wellington didn't respond as if he hadn't heard her voice.

Franti Cassia's face changed slightly and she hated Wendy more.

After Mr. Mohr gave a speech on the stage, the party was over.

"Mr. Mohr, we are leaving now." Franti Cassia stood beside Louis.

Nancy Monica stared at Louis Wellington, her face full of loneliness. She wanted to stay with Louis longer.

At this time, Wendy Cassia also came to greet her. Nancy and Franti looked at her with murderous eyes, as if they were looking at an enemy.

"Mr. Monica, I'm leaving now." After saying that, Wendy Cassia turned around and left, ignoring the two sharp lights behind her.

Franti and Louis left immediately. They didn't expect to see each other in the parking lot again.

"Miss Cassia, we are destined to meet." Franti Cassia unconsciously tightened her grip on Louis Wellington's arm, keeping her body close to Louis to declare her sovereignty.

Wendy Cassia glanced at the distance between the two people and said with a smile, "After all, both of us are surnamed Cassia."

Franti Cassia's eyes suddenly became nervous, fearing that the man next to her would find out something. She urged, "Let's go, Louis."

She didn't want the result of several years to be lost today, which made Franti more convinced that she had to get rid of Wendy.

Louis Wellington glanced at Wendy Cassia and said, "See you tomorrow!"

The car rolled up the dust and drove away. Wendy Cassia smiled and shook her head before getting in the car.

See you tomorrow?

Franti Cassia looked at the man in confusion. "What did you mean by saying that to her?"

"Miss Cassia will work in the Wellington Group tomorrow." Louis Wellington replied casually.

"What?"
