Chapter 22 Being Tracked

The sky gradually covered with darkness. In the quiet office, a man stood straight with his back to each other, standing in front of the wide French window, exuding majesty all over his body.

Franti Cassia stood timidly behind him, not daring to look up at him.

The man began to speak while she stood stiffly until her feet felt limp and numb.

"You know where I went?" Louis Wellington said coldly.

Franti Cassia trembled from her legs to her head. This time, it was more serious than ever. She was really not sure whether she could make Louis calm down.

She pursed her lips unnaturally. After a long while, Franti Cassia finally uttered, "Well, yes!"

Her tone was so weak that it couldn't be heard clearly at all.

Glancing back, Franti Cassia happened to raise her head and meet that pair of cold eyes. Franti Cassia immediately lowered her head again.

She really regretted raising her head.

Louis Wellington walked up to her in black leather shoes, and his voice floated above her head.

"Angela has been confirmed to attend the fashion show."

All of a sudden, Franti Cassia raised her head in surprise, and her dim eyes lit up. "Really?"

Louis Wellington walked to his chair and sat down, crossing his hands over the table. "The schedule has been announced."

Taking out her phone, Franti Cassia hurriedly opened Facebook.

Sure enough, Angela's company had released the related announcement.

Her hanging heart was finally relieved, and Franti Cassia collapsed into her seat like a fish that had just been rescued.

"Do you think it's over in this way?"

Louis Wellington looked at her with a frown and said unhappily.

Franti Cassia was like a frightened deer. Her heart trembled when she heard this. Then she turned to Louis for mercy and said in a softer voice, "Louis, it's not all my fault. If Wendy hadn't set me up, I wouldn't have said it. Even if I have to bear it, Wendy will have to go with me."

Hearing this, Louis Wellington's eyes darkened. He had expected that Wendy had been involved in it because she was so cunning.

Seeing that the man didn't say anything for a long time, Franti Cassia hooked his little finger and shook it gently. "Louis~ I'm sorry. I won't reveal any information easily in the future. God can testify for me."

Letting go of her hand, Louis Wellington put his hand under the table and said, "Angela's schedule is set and the design draft should be released as soon as possible. Do you still have time to be here?"

Out of the corner of his eye, the man gave a sharp glance.

"I'll go and do it right now." Franti Cassia left the office as fast as she could.

After she went out, Louis Wellington rubbed between his eyebrows, as if he wanted to get rid of the tiredness of the day.

Fortunately, Angela had talked to the company about the schedule. Otherwise, it would not be so easy to end this matter. Maybe God was still on his side.

"Boss, Miss Wendy went to the Eriksson factory this afternoon. The result seems to be good." Evan Lechter reported the investigation results to Louis.

"But... Except us, there seems to be someone else following her."

Louis Wellington smiled and turned to the door. "Who else can it be except her?"

"Miss Cassia?"

"Our people have to withdraw first."

Withdraw?

Evan Lechter was puzzled. "Miss Cassia has sent someone to follow her, will it harm Wendy?"

"She can solve it." Louis Wellington said without hesitation.

"Yes, sir."

Wendy Cassia drove straight home from the factory.

After parking the car, Wendy walked out of the garage. But with every step she took, she could hear several footsteps behind her.

"Are they still following me?"

"What does Franti Cassia want to do by sending these people?"

"Are they coming for my children?"

No, she had to find out it.

Thinking of this, Wendy Cassia withdrew her foot from the stairs and walked towards the alley nearby.

The dim light lengthened her figure and several black shadows behind her.

Suddenly, Wendy Cassia stopped and said, "Come out."

As soon as she finished speaking, three homeless men in rags appeared with cunning smiles on their faces.

"Oh my God. I didn't see it clearly before. It's a beautiful lady."

"Yes, my friend. I thought she was just in good shape, but I didn't expect her to have a good face."

"My God! We can enjoy ourselves tonight."

The man in black said that with a camera hanging around his neck. He was fiddling around. "Take photos or videos. Maybe we can sell them at a good price."

Wendy Cassia looked at them up and down. Their clothes really didn't match the camera. It should be from Franti.

"Did she hate me so much that she wanted my reputation to be ruined?"

"What do you want?" Wendy's light blue eyes suddenly became sharp.

"Beautiful lady, what else do you think we can do?"

The three people approached one after another, their hands constantly rubbing as if they couldn't wait.

Looking at the three people, Wendy Cassia pursed her lips and said, "I think you still need to think about it."

"No need."

Two homeless men came at the same time. The man in black was responsible for taking photos. After all, it was the order of their superior that he must take photos.

It seemed that she had to fight.

Wendy Cassia began to twist her neck and exercise her muscles. With a smile at the corners of her mouth, she said, "God bless you."

"Oh my God! Did I see it wrong? Does this beautiful lady want to fight with us? Miss, we are not responsible for hurting you."

As one of them who looked strong pouncing on Wendy Cassia. Wendy dodged him easily. She stretched out her long hand and pulled the man to her original position. Then she clasped his arm backhand and twisted it hard.

The man began to cry out for pain. Wendy Cassia laughed and kicked him to the ground.

How could it be so easy?

The remaining two men didn't wait any longer. They rushed forward at the same time and gave Wendy a big fist.

Wendy Cassia was neither too fast nor too slow. She tilted her head, and the man's fist missed. Taking advantage of his unpreparedness, Wendy swept over the two men's legs and swung her fists at them, making them black and blue.

The first one to fight didn't dare to move forward anymore. The three men were lying on the floor, screaming miserably.

It was rare to see such a scene.

Wendy Cassia took the camera off the man's neck and aimed it at them. "Oh my God, I have to keep such a nice scene as a souvenir."

"My God, I have never thought that I would be beaten like this by a woman!"

"Yeah, why didn't that person tell us that she can play Kung fu?"

That person?

Wendy Cassia recognized that it was indeed Franti, but she had to leave evidence.

She squatted down, opened the camera and snapped, "Tell me, who sent you here?"
