Not long after Sigal Gauss left, Louis Wellington came back. It seemed that he was trying to escape.
As soon as he entered the office, Evan sent the latest information. "Director Wendy has reached a cooperation with Mrs. Gauss."
The man was not surprised at the result. Instead, he was a little unhappy.
"Okay."
Louis replied sulkily. His two handsome eyebrows twisted into a ball, and there seemed to be a circle of light above his head, which made people dare not approach him.
Evan looked at the unhappy face of his boss in confusion. He asked carefully, "Boss, don't you really want to cooperate with Mrs. Gauss?"
He had thought Louis was just joking when he heard him say that. But now it seemed to be true.
Louis Wellington didn't respond but waved his hand to let him out.
Evan lowered his head and walked out. As soon as his hand touched the doorknob, he heard Louis's order, "Ask Wendy to come here."
"Okay." Turning around, Evan replied softly.
