Wendy Cassia stood there in a daze, her eyes slightly moving, revealing a sense of confusion. Her makeup had been much removed, and at this moment, she was like a lost lamb.
Louis waved at her and said in a clear voice, "Wendy, come here."
Because she was familiar with him, she didn't have to be on guard. She approached Louis step by step and didn't stop until she was in front of him. She looked up at him.
Louis couldn't control himself by her gaze. He turned his head, took a deep breath and said slowly, "I'll take you to sober up." As soon as he finished speaking, he took Wendy's hand, and a warm feeling instantly swept over Wendy's whole body. She looked up at Louis's side face, and then followed Louis to the square.
With one hand on the handrail, the wind on the lake blew slowly. Worried that Wendy might catch a cold, Louis Wellington took off his coat and put it on her shoulders.
