When I woke up this morning, I notice Don is still in the room. I wonder why he is still at home.
"Morning, "he says, and I frown at him.
"Why are you still at home?" I question.
"I wanted to tell you myself," he explains. Now, I am confused.
"What?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
"I have to travel today." Why is he just telling me this now? I am going to be alone now.
"Why? What's wrong?"I ask, already panicking.
"Calm down, Nala, there is a fight between our packs, that's all."
What if he dies? If he doesn't come back, I will be alone forever.
"Nala, Nala," Don says, tapping me.
"Sorry..... Do you have to be there?" I asked, hoping he will back out.
"Yes, Nala, I have to be there. I'll be back in a week. There is nothing to worry about." He moves closer to the bed and holds my hands.
