You can't force the rain to stop falling,
But you can catch it, dance with it.
The sun won't stop setting every night.
But when you look at it, it's not really that bad.
Stop trying to change something permanent,
And start embracing the beauty of everything.
What's done can never be undone. I know it's painful, we've all been there.
You had a bad day? A bad week?
But everytime the sun sets, Your pain becomes yesterday.
Stop bringing things up,
It will only burden your back.
Every little thing you left behind
Make things lighter for your walk.
Restart.
I'm finally back in Melbourne after some twists and turns in a blink of an eye. Only a few days have passed and yet I felt like a year's worth of events happen.
Back at school, I found out that I'm actually 8 activities behind and I have to finish it all by the end of tomorrow. A few business proposals, plus I haven't drafted anything yet for my thesis regarding a new software application.
My mind is still exhausted due to the past events but now I have to switch it on again for school purposes. *sigh*
"Noah" I called the student representative in our college, who was the only person I actually interacted with within our department. Noah looks like the typical good guy, tall, clean-cut and decent. There's no striking feature but girls still flock to him as he can be anyone's ideal type.
"Oh hey Addie, need help?" he asked beaming as he approached me.
"Yes, please. Can you briefly discuss whatever lessons you had while I was away? And the papers I have to finish by tomorrow." I said. I already feel exhausted saying those. Will I be able to finish it on time?
"Sure, but actually I think you've already studied most of the topics discussed, and by the way, we'll be having an exam on Friday, random topics I guess, Mr. Smith said it would cover all the topics we had since the start of classes.
As for the papers you need, I'll send the topics to you via email later" He winked at me after he finished.
"I guess,
I won't be sleeping then" I sighed.
"Oh come on, you would only need a secretary to write up all your ideas then your done," He said laughingly while motioning his hands like a magician.
Why does everyone think I'm a genius? I ran out of ideas as well. There are times when my brain won't function as I intend it to. I'm not as perfect as everyone perceives me to be, it's just that they haven't seen how hard I work when I'm at home. I didn't achieve anything easily but that doesn't matter. They will just think I am bluffing anyway.

I haven't seen Piper yet.
I arrived here at 2 am this morning and I slept immediately as I have class today so I didn't have time to look for her.
*calling Piper*
"Hey Pipe, where are you? I just got out of our room." I told her while walking towards the gate.
"omggg, you're back! Coffee? Or dinner?
Oh, whatever, let's meet in front of the school first" she said excitedly as if she haven't seen me for years.
"okay" I replied then hung up.
*After a few minutes*
"Addieeeeee" huhuhu *she hugged me while sobbing*
"Hey, why are you crying?" I said teasing her, she's too exaggerated but it's quite adorable. The look on her face is too priceless, eyes glistening with tears and that cute pouty lips.
"You disappeared then you were on the news for a few days! Gosh, do you have any idea how worried I was? I was afraid your parents would force you to go home and I won't see you ever again!" she said while still crying. I can feel my clothes getting wet as she was still hugging me.
"Pipe you have to chill okay. I,
Well, I'm not sure either but I don't think my parents would bring me home without finishing my masters?"
"Oh, that makes sense. Anyway, I suddenly feel hungry after crying, where to?" She said while wiping her tears and checking her face in the mirror she took out of her bag. This girl switches emotions like a lightning and I chuckled at her behavior. I feel better now I guess.
"I'm craving some barbeque snags" I answered and I suddenly can't wait to eat them. I'm already salivating just thinking about the tender meat that is deliciously marinated, and as you chew, it overflows with juiciness. Ahhhh, we need to go there fast.
"Gosh, you're so rich but you prefer street foods. Do your parents know?" She said jokingly while holding her head as if she heard something ridiculous.
Well offcourse she's just acting. Both of us are actually more fond of street foods as most fine dinings only serve small portions of food. And that is a big NO for us.
