I have lost track of time.
I did not even notice that it is already past lunchtime until I received another message from Felix. "I'm at the restaurant near your office". I stared at the phone and was a bit irritated at the sudden visit. I seriously don't have time right now, why is he doing this?

I picked up my bag and went out to check him on. And upon opening the door at the restaurant, I saw a glimpse of him. He was not joking after all.
"You really came?" I greeted and he smiled upon hearing me and offered a seat beside the window. "How are you?" he asked. "Busy" I replied immediately.
"No matter how busy you are, you also need to eat your lunch. I already ordered so it'll be served soon" he said and I smiled at him in response. "Thanks, but I'll have to go back immediately after eating. I still need to prepare for the meeting this afternoon." I reminded him and he nodded. "Sure, I'll be staying here for quite a while, I already told my dad that I'll travel to some places for maybe a month to gather musical inspiration and I'll help him run his business afterward," he explained to me. So that explains why he is suddenly here instead of returning to Korea. Guess he'll be around here for quite a time.
"Your dad wasn't suspicious of your motives at all?" I curiously asked. I mean, if it was my dad, there would be lots of questions and he would think I'm just delaying my work or that I'll just play around.
"My dad never forced anything on me. He's actually quite chill. Maybe because he wasn't originally business-minded. He was once a singer and just put up an agency when he got older to build more talents like himself. He is actually easygoing, and gets along well with everyone."
"Hmm, I only remember my brother telling me that his CEO is a good person. I didn't ask any further anyway." I told him as I reminisce about my old conversation with Aiden when he was accepted as a trainee in their agency.
"Do you need a hand on your work?" Felix suddenly asked.
"Even if I need, I won't tell you. It's confidential okay, how would I know if you're a spy?" I teasingly answered.
"Well, I was just asking, maybe you need help from a spy?" he laughingly said.
We talked for a while and I felt comfortable this time. I was always curious, tense, and suspicious around him but I can say that I am slowly opening up to people these days. I do not want to hide anymore and will try harder in the future. After we finished eating our lunch, I then excused myself and told him I needed to go back already.
"Sure, go ahead. Just call me if you need anything"

I walked out of the restaurant with a light heart.
When I was back at the company, I prepared a little more before going to the meeting. It went smoother than I expected and now I'll be working with the team in developing the new software. I wanna think positively this time and consider this as my first achievement, having been able to convince a team to work under me is great satisfaction and I never felt more accomplished than I am now.
"Addie, I'm back in Sydney, are you at the office now? I'll come to visit you." I saw a text message from Noah as I sit down in my office. I just stared at the screen blankly, wondering why is everyone arriving here today. I massaged my temples as it was really hard for me to balance everything right now.
A few minutes later:
"Coffee?" Noah said upon entering. He's waving the coffee he was currently holding and offered it to me. The front desk must have been familiar with his face, seeing that he could easily enter my office. I smiled at him and offered him a seat.
"Sure, thanks" I answered. "I assume you were too busy that you can't even reply to my message," he said sulkily and sit in front of me.
"Well, I am," I said while flaunting all the papers at my desk.
"Need help?" he asked, but I immediately declined. "No need, thanks for the offer by the way"
"Hmm okay, tomorrow I'll start working as well. Aren't we going to collaborate on a project soon?" He asked as our parents have been working together for a long time.
"I don't think so, we're looking for a company that focuses on robotics for our current project. By any chance, do you know any good one?" I asked him. Now that our company wanted to expand our market, we also need to expand our connections and I think Noah might be of help.
"I'll try to look into it and inform you if I find one," he answered. "By the way, wanna grab dinner together? I missed the celebration back in Melbourne" he continued. Looking back, it was better that he actually wasn't able to come as the celebration was a bit complicated. I felt exhausted that day having to deal with everyone's questions.
"Hmm, I have to decline that as well. Let's schedule it next time, better if Piper is also here." I politely answered. Even though I'm not yet dating Felix, I don't think it's appropriate to have dinner alone with someone else even though Noah is my friend. I wouldn't mind if Piper is with us. I may not have experience with dating but I am not dumb not to know that it is not appropriate to be alone with other guys.
"Too busy? You also need to eat Addie, you look thin already."
"No it's not that, I just think I won't be able to accompany you. I might just have dinner with the team later or at home. You know Aunt Sally makes really delicious food right? I won't get starved." I explained though it is half a lie.
