Just then a woman with caramel blonde hair came in. She was clad in a grey sweater paired with blue jeans and black ankle boots. She appeared to be calm and collected but her sweaty palms said otherwise. 


" Your designs might have not been up to the demoness's standards"


People started to whisper. Elise looked lost and didn't know what they were talking about. 


Two of her colleagues turned around to face her. 


" Heidi Smith, the demoness is the manager of the design department,  She is super strict. One tiny little mistake and it's over for you"


If Elise was being honest, she was scared. 


" As you all know, Spring is coming up. Your designs for the spring collection have to be handed in before the end of this week. I expect you to do better than you did for the winter collection", said Heidi


People continued to whisper to each other. 


" I think she is still mad about the winter collection fiasco"


" Wasn't that bad? All of us were almost fired"


" I encourage interns to submit their designs. As long as your designs are creative, stylish, and fit the theme, they might be included in the Spring collection this year. But remember, plagiarism will not be tolerated ", Heidi said before she left. 


The moment Heidi returned to her office, everyone's expressions became relaxed. People began talking and going on with their work. 


" They doing ' Blooming at Midnight'. If you ask me, they are just trying to use the movie, ' Blooming at midnight' for advertising"


" How could you?! How could I?! How could I be friends with someone who hasn't watched ' Blooming at Midnight'?!"


" Ignore her. She is just being her usual dramatic self"


" The movie is about two star-crossed lovers who got separated due to the issues in their families and then reunited years later. It's kind of like Romeo and Juliet"


" Do you even know what happens in Romeo and Juliet?"


" No, but all I know is that the ending is tragic"
