Chapter 03 Contract (Part 01)

In a space with no light, no direction, a figure was chained.

"I thought you would have learned a thing or two in all the many years you have lived, but it looks like the more you live the more your brain rots".

The figure was giving the smell of fear and dread as if there is no hope left in the world. The figure pulled on the chain and broke one of the chains, but it joined again and became even tighter.

" It has been thousands of years since you have been watching me without saying a word".

The chain around its neck tightened, squeezing it.

"mmmm..... It hurts you fucking shithead, what, you don't like what I have to say. Good then do your worst, we both know you aren't powerful enough to keep me chained up like this forever, and know this, it will be your most loved creatures who will be the reason for my freedom".

The figure closed its eyes and stopped moving, waiting for the moment he would have his former strength back again.

I heard a voice, it was an unknown voice but still felt familiar, calling to me, when I raise my eyes, an old woman was standing in front of me and a little girl was kneeling beside her. "How did I get back here?"

I picked up a book that was kept in front of me on the table and looked around, I was back in the library. I stood up from the chair holding the red in my hand.

"Was it all a dream?".

I looked at the book closely and was about to open it when I felt a presence behind me.

I looked back and saw an old man behind me. The face o the old man was familiar but the aura he was giving did not match the face

The man looked exactly like the person whom I would consider to be a father figure in my life, Uncle Levi, the school watchman, the only difference was that he was wearing a butler uniform.

"Aah, he is the owner, Mr. owner could you please allow me to come to the library, please".

I was confused, I didn't know how to answer that plead.

Little Alex looked at me.

"I give Mr. owner, permission to visit my room whenever he wants."

The light came out of little Alex's forehead and covered my body then disappeared.

I pushed the door open and went inside.
