He could see that she was being truly frustrated and angered. And he understood. Anyone would feel that way if they were being put in her situation.

However, he could not tell her anything. If he tells her, it would all be over. He would not be able to take her along with him anymore and she would not be saved. And he would never let that happen. He could feel that it will be hard to convince her. Bloody hard actually. But there were no other options for him. All he could do was hope and do everything he could to make her trust in him this one time and follow along with him willingly despite not knowing anything.
