At this moment, the attendee spoke with a lightly trembling voice. "Middle tiers get 10% off the price of everything in the martial arts library's second floor. All low tier rank four skills are now free. You also have the ability to receive a monthly total of one gold piece."
Su Tao heard this, and he was surprised, but he quickly ignored it.
However, what the attendee said next surprised him even more.
"Since you were at the middle tier already when you rented the misty ripple body skill and I was unaware of it, I will return to you the 10% you should have had off."
After saying this, he gave Su Tao six gold pieces and eighty silver pieces. Su Tao was not at all expecting this, but he definitely wouldn't refuse free money. As such, he gladly took it.
Su Tao also remembered that he should have been elevated to the status of a core disciple of the family by the elders of the family, but he didn't care in the slightest since they obviously weren't going to help him if they could.
And those who might be willing would probably be stopped by those who weren't. After all, the latter outweighed the former.
His talent was enough that he theoretically should be directly trained by the three star silver rank grand elder of the family, but he wasn't because his grandson hated Su Tao.
The elders of all the families in the city were responsible for the safety of their families, but that lightning had killed thousands of people, and even if those people weren't that strong, those elders still put the blame they placed on his mother onto him.
People in this world were extraordinarily selfish and vicious, and they constantly tried to kill and suppress each other for no reason other than the fact that they could.
The only reason that they had yet to kill Su Tao was because of the City Master, who insisted on protecting the former for some unknown reason. If they killed the latter without a proper reason, they would be severely punished by the City Master, and even being able to survive his anger would be extremely unlikely.
A reason such as Su Tao had a conflict with Su Long was not nearly enough to kill him. As for nearly or fully killing those black robed people, they had tried to kill him first, and he killed them in self defense, giving no reason there.
The earth element (changed from weapon type) black robed man had his body burned, so they had no evidence of Su Tao killing him, and many people had seen the defensive woman try to kill him, giving no reason there as well.
Since Su Tao dared to come back to the city, he was sure that he would be safe from those who wished to kill him since they could only do so in the dark. And it was unlikely that they would be able to kill him anyway since even the elders of the family couldn't do anything while he was in the boundaries of the family.
They couldn't do so since he would just yell out loud and wake those around him telling them that he was being attacked by the elders of the family, and news would quickly spread to the City Master, who would then deal with the elder that did so, with survival being unlikely.
As for the elders possibly tracking him out of the city, since he had no aura, they could only do so within visual distance, in which case Su Tao would see them, and that was under the unlikely case that they could even find a chance to do so.
Su Tao went into the city at extremely random intervals, and they couldn't just wait for him to arrive since they were extremely busy. And even if they were in the area, he only stayed for a few minutes at a time before leaving, which was not enough time for people to report to them and for them to come over.
In this way, Su Tao was completely invulnerable to the elders of the family, and a peak tier one star silver rank was completely incapable of killing him and might be killed by him instead. He had no reason to fear anyone in the entirety of the Su family at this point in time, even if he did stay in the city.
He originally wasn't planning to buy anything this time he came to the city, only getting some extra money. However, he had unexpectedly gotten the misty ripple body.
But he did have a goal coming here. As such, he wasn't going to leave at this point in time, even if he did have some greedy eyes on him that wanted to get the misty ripple body.
However, those people wouldn't dare to do anything to him in the city, and wouldn't even attack him at all due to his reputation of killing peak tier beasts and selling them every single time he came back now, with the number only increasing as time passed.
He also had his previous reputation of using some unknown method to instantly kill a defense specialized weaker high tier one star silver rank while only at the third bronze star, which people assumed was his killing move. Anyone would fear him with such a move even then, let alone now that he was a middle tier himself.
Under the gazes of those near him, Su Tao then sped into the center of the Su family grounds, and surprisingly, without even using any inner energy, his speed was comparable to a peak tier.
This left everyone completely shocked, and most of the people here wouldn't be able to catch up to him even if they ran full speed after him while using their inner energy.
Very quickly, he vanished from everyone's sights. While he was running, he put up his hood so that less people would recognize him while he ran. He did not go to any specific place, but he continued to move for a long time, and it soon got dark.
As it got dark out, everyone generally went to sleep, and less people started to see Su Tao running around the family. After all, few people could keep up with him, and even those that could were wary of him and didn't want to chase after him for no reason.
Only after it was dark did Su Tao stop running. He felt no gazes on him, but he still looked around to make sure, and sure enough, no one was capable of keeping track of him enough to have anyone watching him.
Even those people told by the elders to follow him could not keep track, meaning that nobody was watching him right now and he could go wherever he wanted to.
As such, he had free reign in the city as of this moment. Even if people saw him, it didn't matter since they wouldn't be able to identify them by the time he was gone.
When he thought about this, he knew exactly what he wanted to do.
He quickly approached a familiar area in the outer area of the Su family.
When he did so, he quickly found a house only slightly better than the one he grew up in, and he snuck inside.
The lock, which was only meant for those at the bronze rank, was naturally completely incapable of keeping him out, and he just directly broke the door handle off with barely any effort and with minimal noise.
As he made his way around the house, he looked through all the keyholes in the rooms to see what was in them, and he finally stopped once he reached the room at the end of the hall.
This door wasn't locked since it was within the house, allowing Su Tao to slip in without any noise. As he saw who was on the bed, he looked at them with hate.
The person on the bed was Su Chao, the one who would previously bully him at every chance he got, mocking him and even going so far as to mock him for his sister getting raped to death.
Su Chao was one of the ones who had made his life a living hell, but he was the only one to directly mock him for being unable to protect his sister from the young master. As such, Su Tao definitely wouldn't let him off.
As Su Tao quietly approached the bed, he looked at Su Chao with hate and an imperceptible killing intent.
Then, in dead silence and as quick as lightning, Su Tao reached out and wrapped his hand tightly around Su Chao's throat in a vice grip.
Su Chao was startled awake, and he tried to scream, but he instantly found that his throat had already been crushed to the point where he couldn't even breathe, let alone scream.
When he tried to look at the one doing this, he couldn't see anything in the darkness. Such scared him, and his previously peaceful heart was now starting to beat out of his chest as adrenaline coursed through his body.
However, it was useless as Su Tao's grip was so strong that his circulation to his head was already cut off.
At this moment, Su Tao's grip was almost as strong as when it was around Su Xue's throat that day. If Su Tao squeezed even a little bit more, Su Chao would have already died.
At this moment, Su Tao then leaned over Su Chao's body as he struggled in silence until Su Chao could finally see his face, and when he did, he felt a spine tingling fear seep deep into his mind and soul.
There was a faint glow in his eyes, which seemed to peer into Su Chao's very soul. The terror he felt was impossible to describe.
Then, without a sound, Su Tao slowly started to increase the strength in his hands.
Slowly, a light crunching sound appeared, followed by some cracking and popping sounds. Su Chao struggled with everything that he had, but he was powerless to stop Su Tao.
Su Chao was now losing the ability to fight back as his body got weaker and weaker. Yet Su Tao didn't stop at all.
Su Tao looked into his eyes and saw limitless fear. Yet he felt no pity whatsoever as he continued to crush Su Chao's neck.
It was without a doubt that Su Tao wanted to be looking into Su Chao's eyes as he died, and he got what he wanted.
The next moment, there was a loud snapping sound followed by another and one final snap before Su Tao released his grip.
Su Chao's throat had been compressed to be only about half of the normal size, and there was a very clear hand print all the way around it.
Su Chao was now completely dead, and Su Tao had achieved his goal in coming here.
Su Chao's eyes were still wide open in fear, his expression forever engrained onto his face. His eyes weren't even bloodshot because Su Tao had cut off all the circulation to his head, showing just how tightly he was grabbing his neck.
Su Tao then silently left the house without doing anything else. Nobody even knew that somebody had just died in complete silence.
That night, Su Tao traveled around the Su family and killed several of the people who helped to make his life a living hell.
He even went to other families in the City of Silver Sparrow to kill some of the people who had humiliated him. His viciousness knew no bounds as he killed these people, looking into their eyes as they died, watching the life fade from their face.
He was extremely bold, but he only killed some weaklings that nobody would care about.
People would likely be able to connect their deaths to Su Tao based on the fact that all these people died on the first day he stayed in the city in a long time, but he could just brush that off by saying that someone could be framing him even if it wasn't a coincidence.
On top of that, they had no evidence whatsoever. The fact that there was no aura there could be explained by it being a person who has extreme control over their aura and didn't leave anything behind, so he was also clear on that point as well.
In this way, he could kill whoever he wanted as long as he didn't do the same thing of staying behind and killing people the same day again.
But it was extremely unlikely that they would even figure out the connection, so he wasn't worried in the slightest.
After killing these people, Su Tao just left the city in complete silence without anybody even knowing he left.
