FILE.43

Come morning, Rosie couldn't quit smiling.

Cedric couldn't stop scowling.

She was late when she came down for breakfast. She had to leave Cedric's bedroom to go to hers to get a shower and get dressed for work. It was a pity that morning had to come so quickly. She hadn't wanted to leave his side. Hadn't wanted to quit staring at his handsome sleeping face. Hadn't wanted to slip out of his warm embrace into the cold morning and leave him.

Though her whole body ached, especially the private places Cedric had explored last night, Rosie walked around in her bedroom in a haze of happiness. Because Cedric might not have given her the exact words but he loved her. He did. Telling her she was his whole world was surely evidence of the fact that he did.

So she kept on smiling as she walked to the breakfast bar. And Cedric kept on scowling as he watched her take a seat beside him.

"Good morning," she muttered, feeling shy all of a sudden.
