FILE.56

Cedric loosened his tie as he entered the house and made a mental note to have Maribel schedule him a massage appointment. He had been feeling overworked lately. His back, neck and shoulders had been extremely tensed the last week and it was starting to affect his performance at work.

It was close to midnight and there was no one to greet him. Cedric went up the stairs and strode down the hallway, pausing in front of Rosie's door. It was slightly open and he pushed it a little further in. Though the room was dark, moonlight streamed through the windows, illuminating across the bedroom. And on the bed was Rosie, sleeping on her side with her arm around a pillow, facing him.

Cedric leaned his shoulder against the door frame, contentment washing over him.

He'd never tire of looking at her.

And now that she belonged to him, he was never going to let her go.
